Hello!
Gratitude. It’s a word we hear often, but do we truly practice it as much as we could? This November, we have an entire day dedicated to creating gratitude during our biannual Create event. In a world that moves at a frantic pace, it’s easy to overlook the countless blessings around us. Yet, taking a moment to acknowledge what we have can completely shift our perspective. Gratitude doesn’t just help us appreciate the good things in life—it can also ground us, creating a sense of calm and purpose amid the hustle and bustle.
At Anna Griffin, Inc., we see gratitude as a vital part of both our work and our lives. Each time we receive a thoughtful note or a handmade card from one of you, we are reminded of the impact our creations have on the world. Your stories, your moments, and your appreciation remind us why we do what we do. And for that, we are incredibly grateful.
Gratitude is more than just a feeling—it’s a practice. It’s about noticing the everyday moments that might otherwise go unnoticed. The soft sunlight filtering through the window as you sit with your morning coffee, the laughter of a friend who brings you joy, the kindness of a stranger who holds the door open when your hands are full. These are the little gifts we often overlook, yet they can make all the difference.
If you’re seeking ways to incorporate more gratitude into your daily life, here are a few simple ideas:
-
Start a Gratitude Journal: Each morning or evening, take a few moments to write down three things you’re grateful for. They don’t have to be grand or extraordinary—sometimes it’s the small moments that mean the most. By reflecting on your day in this way, you’ll begin to notice just how much there is to be thankful for.
-
Express Your Appreciation: Don’t wait for special occasions to express your thanks. If someone has made a difference in your life, whether big or small, let them know. A quick note, a phone call, or a heartfelt message can brighten someone’s day and remind them of the positive impact they’ve had on you.
-
Savor the Present Moment: Take time to truly appreciate the present. When you’re enjoying a meal, savor each bite. When you’re spending time with loved ones, fully engage in the moment without distractions. The more you connect with the now, the more you’ll realize how much you have to be grateful for.
Gratitude is a powerful tool. Not only does it improve our mental and emotional well-being, but it can also transform the way we view the world. It’s easy to fall into the trap of focusing on what we don’t have, but by practicing gratitude, we train ourselves to appreciate the beauty in the world, no matter how small.
So, today, I encourage you to take a moment to reflect on what you’re grateful for. Whether it’s a kind gesture, a personal accomplishment, or simply the chance to begin a new day, there’s always something to be thankful for. Let’s make gratitude a part of our everyday practice, and watch how it changes the way we experience the world around us.
I am grateful for you,
Anna

Sometimes I forget to appreciate all that I have to be grateful for. I use to keep a journal and list three things every day that I was grateful for. Unfortunately I lost that habit. It’s time to start the gratitude journal again. It’s so easy for the mental attitude to be negative when we forget to be grateful. Thank you for the reminder.
Anna, what such inspirational words and ideas to express gratitude. Thank you for sharing with all of us. May God bless you and keep you. Everyone have a great week and may God bless you all always.
This was such a happy surprise this morning. I am so thankful and grateful for you and all the work that you have put into items for us to look good and to provide for others. You are such a great inspiration to others and I am so thankful for you.
Wonderful message ! I am so grateful that I found you on your first TV visit to QVC – (not sure if my first kit which is Q067 in 2003 was from that show or if I followed you & shortly after it I purchased it) but you really got me into scrapbooking with your products. As time went on it brought me to cardmaking & must say that I only use your products as they are such great quality & none others can compete with your products. You have changed my whole life around & have to admit that I do some kind of papercrafting each & every day as I make cards for everyone in our church for birthdays, anniversaries, get well just a note to say hello & of course for others. I can’t thank you enough all of your efforts (& your team) have put into your products & just your daily posts. My gratitude for AG is beyond compare.
I am grateful to wake up each day and start the day with my husband. I pray each day for peace and kindness among ourselves and less violence. Keep God in your hearts so that someday peace will prevail. Bless you all.
