The Empress is a really good cutting machine but the replacement parts are too expensive. I ordered two sets of the plates and black magnetic mat and it cost $85 with shipping and tax which is a little less than half the cost of a whole new machine with plates and pad. I find I don’t use my machine as much as I would like to because of the replacement costs of the plates/mat. And why the heck aren’t they on HSN since you sell the machine on HSN?

Your cutting machine is wonderful!
These are replacement plates for the Empress die cutting and embossing machine. The previous plates were heavily used and eventually developed a curved profile. Great machine! My only comment is I wish it were not made in China.
My goodness... I don't know why I waited so long to purchase the empress. It is a silent work horse that cuts like butter. I'm still learning the sandwich needed for the various embossing folders, but I would buy again! Love my new tabletop crafting buddy!
