I used the new one that came with new Empress to make my 12 Christmas cards this year & now if I use it to cut white paper it looks reddish . Would like to know how to clean it ! I bought another in the meantime to use with white paper. I love the thicker magnetic plate with strong magnet so I don't have to use tape to hold down dies / paper !!! Love the quality other than paper embedding into it.
The mat works great in my Gemini Junior with a little sandwich adjustment. It lasts a VERY long time.
I have had my Empress machine for about 6 months. The magnetic mat is the best I have ever used! My original mat is still working great, I just purchased another one to have has a backup when it comes time to retire my original one. The magnetic mat, cutting plates and the machine are the best ever (and I have used a lot of die cut machines in my 30+ years or crafting).

I bought several of these mats as spares. I'm new to the Empress machine and I really like it. The magnetic mats hold down my dies in place really well. I might not need the spare mats for a long time, as the seem to be really good quality. But I don't want to run out.
