Anniversary Stamp Set

I love that Anna is bring back items that I had missed.

I just used these to make custom backgrounds for ten birthday cards. They worked beautifully! I used the new AG ink set with them and the new AG stamping platform. I liked being able to custom make the backgrounds with any pattern and color I liked to match with all my AG papers. I also made belly bands to go around some of the cards by using the long border stamps. They were the perfect width and I was able to match the pattern to the base cards! I love the delicate, vintage, and traditional patterns that AG provides us.

I've had many of Anna's past stamp collections-but found the quality of the stamps to be somewhat subpar compared to other name brand polymer stamps-I never felt that they held the ink well or stamped crisply. I eventually shied away from her stamps. However, when she came out with this Anniversary set and stated that they were made better than ever- I decided to give them a try. They definitely are thicker and they hold the ink well! I used her wonderful new hybrid inks which I highly recommend!!! They stamped beautifully! I had so much fun with these stamps and her hybrid inks I was making "wallpaper backgrounds" and design trims and edgings with those lovely vintage stamp designs for hours! It was like making your own designer cardstock patterns! And YES! these stamps are repeat designs so you can make a continuous print all the way across and down your paper to cover the whole sheet without ever seeing the repeat line! I truly love the vintage pattern stamps and so glad I bought them! I hope she makes more designs!!!
