Can the Empress die cutting machine handle 3D embossing folders?

Many 3D folders from other brands will not fit in the Empress Mini, but can be used with the Empress or Empress Elite. You may need to experiment with plate order, but here are our recommendations.

For Sizzix 3D folders, try using 1 A plate on the bottom with a 3D folder on the top. Add the metal shim under the folder if more pressure is needed.

For Spellbinders 3D folders, try using the Spellbinders Platinum Cutting Plates with the folders in between the 2 Plates.
