Spooktacular Friends Cut and Emboss Folders - Made Easy

Hi friends,

We have Halloween cards on the agenda today, and the Spooktacular Friends Cut and Emboss Folders fit the bill! We love to use an of array of Anna Griffin crafting products to create the very best cards and papercrafts that you can be proud of. This set of 2 folders creates 9 images for your cards, scrapbook pages and even trick or treat bags! With one pass through your Empress Machine, you will be able to use all 9 icons any way that you please.

Let's make a card for your spooky salutations!

First we used a shiny black sheet from the Spooky Matte Foil Cardstock for our icons. We like to add a piece of wax paper to the top of the black cardstock to protect the paper and for easy release.

We also cut one of the Halloween cats in purple, and used a craft knife to cut out the hat and collar.
Attach the hat and collar to the black cat; this set is great for paper piecing!
For this card, we're using the Beautiful Birthday Dies, but you could use any of the frame dies in your craft room for the background.
Next, we added a spider to a web diecut and attached it to the card with foam adhesive.
A duo of pumpkins get added to the bottom right as shown.
Then the intricate frame (from the Beautiful Birthday Dies) is placed on top of the shadow layer.
For added depth, add another frame diecut.
A third frame diecut get added to the top (you could also just do one).
Add a flower from the Thankfulness Floral Stickers and a gold flourish from the Foil Flourishes 2.
Add your witchy black cat inside the frame using foam adhesive.
Attach another floral cluster to the bottom left corner.
A sentiment from our 120 Mini Halloween Stickers and Sentiments and a Falloween Bow finish your fun card.
Halloween cards are fun to send to grandchildren, neighbors, teachers and friends that you need to reach out to.
You will find all kinds of items in your craft room that will pair wonderfully with the Spooktacular Friends Cut and Emboss Folders
Layer them together with other diecuts for an opulent card!
Play with adding darker colors of the same design to create shadows and highlights with your diecuts.
Halloween cards don't have to be scary! The Spooktacular Friends Cut and Emboss Folders are a great embellishment making tool to have in your crafting arsenal. If you don't have this set of folders, then this week is a great time to scoop them up. They are on sale on our website this week!
