Welcome to Charm School! Today we’re diving into the Spellbound Cut and Emboss Folders Made Easy— a gorgeous set of three patterns perfect for fall. Each folder has a die built right in, so you’ll never lose it, and with one quick pass through your Empress (or any die cutting machine) you’ll have a beautifully shaped, embossed layer ready to use. The set includes Checkerboard, Falling Leaves, and Pumpkins— just right for autumnal and Halloween crafting!
Let’s make something spooky and fun with the Checkerboard folder from the set.

First, cut a piece of Luxury Champagne Matte Foil Cardstock with the Checkerboard folder. Add a piece of wax paper for easy removal.
Do the same with a piece of matte black cardstock.
On the champagne layer, follow the lines and cut out a diamond with squared sides. Save the extra pieces for another project!
Choose a patterned base— we picked one from the Fall Pattern Cards and Envelopes. Add the black embossed layer to the card with foam adhesive.
Next, layer on your fussy cut champagne piece. The quilted effect is so striking!
The layers are really adding to the interest!
Add a piece of orange vellum from the Halloween Vellum Card Toppers.
Then, place a spooky sentiment from the Halloween Vellum Cards and Envelopes right in the center.
Finish with flowers from the Black and Cream Embellishments and flourishes from the Garden Fountain set. These little details add movement, texture and just the right touch of Halloween style.
Your card is hauntingly beautiful— so festive and ready to send a little thrill to someone special!

No video? That’s okay the samples are stunning. I wish these were sold individually, as the 3 pack is out of my price range at this time. I’m not saying they aren’t worth it, but I am on a fixed income, so I have to watch my spending.
