Today, we’re going to foil onto fabric and pair our sentiment with the spectacular 3D Baroque Concentric Dies. So pretty! Come get crafty with us.
Today we're going to use the Small Birthday Sentiment Foil Plates and the Empress Gild to make a gorgeous birthday card.
Heat your sentiment foil plate on the Empress Gild for 2 minutes at the low temperature setting.
Add your foil face down onto the foil plate.
Place the fabric face down over the foil. Now you can have fun experimenting with other materials too, including cardstock, vellum, flocked paper and patterned paper.
Add the top plate once everything is heated, then run the plate system through your Empress Machine.
Peel away the foil to reveal your beautiful sentiment. It’s always fun to see that gorgeous transfer appear!
Use the shadow layer from the 3D Baroque Concentric Dies to cut the fabric into shape.
Admire that gorgeous gilded sentiment. So pretty!
Cut the intricate Baroque frame, then place the inner shadow layer inside the oval.
Take a moment to enjoy all of those beautiful details. The details in this die set are spectacular!
Place a border sticker on the front of an In the Garden card, then cut the card at 5 inches.
Add your gilded fabric layer on top.
Layer the intricate green matte foil piece over the card.
Add embellishments (these are from the Birthday Wishes Card Making Kit) to the bottom left corner without covering your beautiful foiled sentiment.
Continue forming a pretty collage around the sentiment for visual interest and dimension.
Finish your card with those special touches that make it just your style.
Gorgeous! Now you have an elegant handmade birthday card ready to send to someone celebrating this month.

Do those beautiful gilded plates work on a Spellbinders Glimmer machine or would I have to invest in another Hot Foiling machine to use them?
That is so lovely. But frugal me would cut 2 1-inch pieces of the border and attach to each side and save the other 10 inches for another project or two.
I would love to get the sentiments, but my budget says no way.
Create is just 80 days away and after seeing the unboxing yesterday, I know I need to start saving my money for the sale after Create. Those papers just blow me away.
