Cut two feathers and a peacock from Hydrangea Matte Foil Cardstock using the Peacock Scene Dies.
Cut the shadow layer, peacock shadow layer and two feathers from Luxury Rose Green Matte Foil Cardstock. Since you won’t see the middle of the shadow layer, nest your smaller dies inside while cutting. It’s a great way to conserve your beautiful cardstock!
Cut the Peacock Scene frame from the Perfect Palette 12x12. The soft pink creates such an elegant frame for our scene.
Cut the inner shadow from one of the Lian Ultimate Papercrafting Collection layers. The beautiful pattern makes the perfect background for your peacock.
Add the light green shadow layer to a Lian card with foam adhesive. This gives your card instant dimension.
Add the Lian shadow layer to the light pink frame. So pretty!
Place the layered frame onto the green shadow layer on your card. Now you have a gorgeous foundation for all of the embellishments to come.
Start adding flowers from the Antique Greetings Postcards and Embellishments. Tuck two of the green peacock feathers among the flowers for an organic, flowing look.
Keep layering flowers around the frame. What’s great is that you can arrange each embellishment in a way that feels just your style.
Add the two light blue feathers and another flower to the top of the card frame. Let the feathers and florals sweep across the frame without covering all of that beautiful diecut detail.
Add a birthday sentiment. We used one from the Birthday Present Card Making Kit for the perfect celebratory finishing touch.
Layer the blue peacock onto its green shadow and add it to the center of the card. Now you have the star of the show! The combination of colors, patterns and shimmering matte foil is absolutely stunning.

I usually ALWAYS gut my shadow layers. Your papers are just too beautiful not to stretch out as long as I can. Plus, I am frugal.
The one thing I love most about your 3D dies are that they don’t require cleaning.

Beautiful set, but I am thinking of the many ways that just the frame alone and the inner shadow arch could be a perfect background for so many creations. The nouveau style is so versatile and I think would look wonderful with nature settings/botanicals, simple compositions (for weddings, sympathy cards, baby announcements, thinking of you), and would enhance diverse paper styles, i.e. nouveau (of course), Japanese or Asian prints, small meadow florals, and craftsman, etc. Can’t wait to try them out.
