Livestream Lowdown: Paper Potion

Last week’s AGTV show, Paper Potion, was a magical celebration of fall and Halloween crafting! We had an enchanting hour full of inspiration, demos, and community fun. If you missed it, you can still catch the replay on AGTV and shop the show for all the featured products.

We started with the Spellbound Pattern Cut and Emboss Folders. This set of three folders features pumpkins, falling leaves and a woven background. Each one cuts and embosses in a single pass, giving you instant layers and texture for your seasonal cards. These backgrounds were a hit for both Halloween and Thanksgiving projects.

The Spellbound Sentiments Rub On Transfers added their own brand of Halloween fun. With cheeky sayings like “Look What You Made me Bew” and “Let’s Boo This,” plus beautiful typography, these rub ons are perfect for card fronts and inside sentiments. They transfer easily and look amazing on foil cardstock, shimmer cardstock, glass and even ribbon.

To complete the collection, the Spellbound Foil Cardstock brought elegance and shine to the show. With rich colors like orange, purple, black and green, these heavy-weight foils gave every project a luxurious finish. 

The show also spotlighted the Hour Glass 3D Dies, which are wonderful for spooky Halloween cards or elegant anniversary and wedding cards. This versatile die set creates a fully dimensional card that looks like a vintage hourglass— you can even turn it into a shaker!

The Black Matte & Shiny Foil Cardstock was another favorite. With both glossy and matte finishes, this set gives you the perfect accent papers for high contrast, dramatic cards. It pairs so well with Halloween dies and embossing.

No Halloween is complete without stickers, and the Mini Halloween Stickers and Sentiments delivered just that! With 120 tiny stickers and sentiments, these vintage-inspired designs are ideal for collage style cards, treat bags and spooky projects.

The Falloween Pre-Tied Bows made an appearance too. With rich seasonal colors in perfectly tied satin, these bows are ready to add the finishing touch to your fall projects. Just peel, stick and your card is beautifully complete.

Another standout from the show was the Gothic Revival 3D Frame Dies. This intricate die set is full of ornate engraving and embossing, perfect for framing sentiments, photos and spooky Halloween scenes. It’s also versatile enough for elegant year round projects.

The Spooky Matte Foil Cardstock rounded out the Paper Potion lineup. With bold seasonal colors and smooth finishes, these foils coordinate perfectly with the Spellbound collection and add extra shine to all your fall crafting. You'll get 60 sheets (12 each of 5 colors) to craft with.

We were also joined by special guest Melanie Farmer, who shared her story as a crafter, a Create attendee and a Griffinista. Her heartfelt reminder about crafting with kindness inspired us all!
