There’s something so beautiful about mixing elegant dies with lush garden-inspired papers. Today we’re creating a layered floral card using the 3D Baroque Concentric Dies and the In the Garden Ultimate Paper Crafting Kit. It’s always fun to combine products from your craft room to create something completely unique and just your style.
What’s great is that the In the Garden Ultimate Paper Crafting Kit truly has everything you need for gorgeous crafting. Inside, you’ll find 32 sheets of double-sided 12x12 cardstock, over 300 beautiful pieces, matte foil cardstock, borders, card layers, sentiment inserts, title stickers, envelopes, diecut embellishments, foil embellishments, butterflies, dragonflies, journaling tags and so much more. Today, we’re making a stunning dimensional card that is all about beautiful composition and layering. Come craft with us!
First, use the 3D Baroque Concentric Dies to cut a piece of green matte foil cardstock from the kit. Use the outer shadow layer die to cut one of the green lilac patterns from the In the Garden Ultimate Paper Crafting Kit.
Attach a 5x7 piece of the purple lilac paper to one of your ivory card bases. Add your shadow layer on top.
Next, layer on your 3D Baroque layer. So pretty already!
Add a border sticker down the middle of the card. Use foam adhesive to give it extra height and dimension.
Mirror image stickers are always a good idea! Turn one upward and one downward to create beautiful movement on your card.
Create a gorgeous composition with the flowers in the kit. Just keep layering and playing with the pieces until it feels balanced and full.
Add one of the beautiful banner sentiments to the center. The flowing shape adds just the right amount of movement.
Finish your card with a trio of butterflies for a little whimsy and charm. It really feels like a walk through the garden.

Wow, so PRETTY! I finally picked up Ultimate Garden, after enjoying cardmaking with a previous cardkit of similar name. I intend to use it primarily for scrapbooking, using some techniques recently learned at CREATE Spring 2026; but, also, my sister needs to hear from me—it’s her May – Emerald birthday this month (the big 6-0!), and sending these sweet new-styled floral blooms will delight her very much!
