Halloween Box Dies- Made Easy

Hi Crafters,

Fall is here—and with it comes crisp air, cozy sweaters, and of course… Halloween crafting! This week, we’re creating something that’s both festive and functional with the Spellbound Cardstock and the Halloween Box Dies. It’s everything you need to make the sweetest (and spookiest) pumpkin treat boxes ever!

What’s great is that the set includes: gorgeous Spellbound Cardstock, Antique Shimmer Cardstock, and Gold and Orange Matte Foil Cardstock, plus all the dies you need to cut pumpkins, handles, swirls, leaves, and sentiments. Every piece layers beautifully for that signature fall shimmer we all love.

Let’s get started on this pumpkin-perfect project!

First, cut 2 pumpkin shadows and 2 box diecuts from the Spellbound Cardstock.

Cut your handle and leaves from the Antique Shimmer Cardstock, then cut 2 pumpkin faces, 2 swirls, and 2 sentiments from the Gold Matte Foil Cardstock.

Next, cut 2 more pumpkin faces from the Orange Matte Foil Cardstock and the shadow handle from the Shimmer Cards and Envelopes.

Fold the tabs and add adhesive to the box parts.

Now, put all the pieces together as shown.

Fold the box pieces in and attach them to the pumpkin shadow layer. You’ll start to see your cute pumpkin box take shape!

Now you have a box that's ready to decorate.

Place clear tape on the back of the pumpkin face and inlay the gold pieces back into the face— it’s such a fun detail.

Add your leaves and flowers to the top of the pumpkin. 

Do this on both sides for a polished, dimensional look.

Put together your handle layers and attach additional leaves and 2 sentiments. 

Then, attach the handle to the front and back of your pumpkin box.

For the finishing touch, add a moon and owl sticker from the 120 Mini Halloween Stickers and Embellishments to both sides of the pumpkin face. So fun and festive!
