Gothic Revival 3D Frame Dies- Made Easy

We're making something truly spellbinding with the Gothic Revival 3D Frame Dies. These dies are dripping with opulence and intricate design— just the thing for Halloween, but versatile enough for birthdays, thank yous and even Thanksgiving cards.

What’s great is that this set includes everything you need to frame your sentiments in stunning style. You'll get 6 dies: large and medium intricate frames, their shadow layers, and an inner die for layering. They're perfect for crafting shaped cards, gatefolds and dimensional layers that really pop.

Today, we’re showing you how to build a luxurious Halloween card that looks like a mini shadow box. It’s spooky, elegant and just your style!

First, use the large intricate die, inside shadow layer and small intricate layer to cut pieces from matte gold foil cardstock. This piece will hold your sentiment later and serve as your focal point.

Cut two more of the large intricate die and the large shadow layer from the same gold cardstock. You’re going to stack these up to give your card beautiful dimension.

Use a craft knife to fussy cut parts of the top and bottom design on the sentiment holder.
This creates little "photo corners" where your sentiment can tuck underneath— so clever!

Place one of your gold frames onto a card front with a black damask pattern. So pretty and perfectly spooky. It creates the ideal backdrop for all that gold.

Add your sentiment to the fussy cut gold diecut. Nestle it just under the cut edges. You’ll love how it looks framed in such an ornate way.

Add the second gold frame, this time with a few embellishments from the Black and Cream Embellishment Stickers and pieces from various past Halloween kits tucked in. Think spiders, webs, florals— anything that gives it that spooky chic touch.

Top with your final gold frame using foam adhesive. Now you have a layered masterpiece that adds dimension and drama.

Finish with more Halloween embellishments in the top left and bottom right corners. Little spiders crawling across gold foil? Yes, please.
