Glorious Foil Rub On Transfers- Made Easy

Hi crafters,

We have a fun tutorial for you today featuring the Glorious Foil Rub On Transfers. If you love the look and versatility of rub ons, then you are going to be delighted by the new golden foil version! Who doesn't like to add a little shine to their projects? What's great about our rub ons is that you can add them to different materials like paper, ribbon and even vellum, which we are going to do today!

Get out your Glorious Foil Rub On Transfers, and let's create something beautiful!

First we cut out the images we wanted to use, placed the flowers and leaves onto different colors of vellum from our Solid Everyday Vellum Bundle and ran the plates through our Empress Elite machine.

We added a layer from the Heirloom Lace Papercrafting Collection. We used a couple of flourishes, and added them directly onto our card base as shown.

With our vellum flower and leaf pieces, we created clusters of flowers and leaves in the top right and bottom left corners.

From there an On Your Birthday sticker and perfect bow finished the card perfectly.

Do you know someone who has a spring birthday? You should send them this gorgeous card! We love staying connected to friends and family by way of a beautiful card.

Use the Glorious Foil Rub On Transfers on papers of all kinds. The tonal effect you get when you add them to our matte gold cardstock is stunning!

More is more! Create bold embellishments that make your cards stand out in a beautiful way. You can customize your own ribbon!

Backgrounds and embellishments get glamorized with the Glorious Foil Rub On Transfers.

If you are intrigued by the Glorious Foil Rub On Transfers, then this is the time to experiment with them! You can get a set of your own on sale this week on our website. With 128 foil embellishments you can be as opulent as you please. We can't wait to see what you make with this set!

I love the different color technique, although I am not a fan cussy cutting. I think the empty spaces in between the designs could be cut out with a small flower/ butterfly die or punch and then you would have a foiled die or punch. Some nice spaces in between some of those designs. I think these will add a touch of opulence to a project.
Happy Crafting!

Thanks for the tips, Anna. I love the idea of cutting the rub-on into pieces and applying them to different colors of vellum. I’m looking forward to trying this technique.

What a beautiful touch to the cards. How interesting that you can put the rub ons through the cutting machine to apply them. I have never had any luck with applying rub ons.
