Hi Crafters,
There is something so special about creating a card that feels like a tiny place you could step right into. This week's project is full of charm, sweet details and beautiful perspective with the Front Porch Scene Dies. It's always fun to build paper worlds, and this set makes it easy to do just that! What's great is that you can create a lovely porch scene with the shadow layer, intricate house details, window frame, hanging baskets, porch swing and all of the beautiful architectural accents in this die sets. Pair them with your favorite papers, stickers and embellishments for a card that everyone will love.
Today, we're going to show you how to make something beautiful with all of the included components. Come get crafty with us!
Use the Front Porch Scene Dies to create all of the layers of your dimensional card. Cut the top of the roof from bronze matte foil cardstock to make the architecture stand out and cut the porch swing from bronze matte foil and cut another from the Fresh Lilac Color Drenched Cardstock for the cushions.

Cut the shadow layer from lavender shimmer cardstock and cut the intricate house and window from Champagne Matte Foil Cardstock. Cut two hanging baskets from an olive shimmer paper scrap.

Create a 5x7 layer from Phoebe Lavender Feather Cardstock and add a gold foil flourish and floral sticker to the top right corner.

Attach a rose and bird sticker from the Wishing Well Embellishments to the top left corner, and add the shadow layer to the card. Then attach the base house layer with foam adhesive.

Fussy cut the champagne layer as shown.

Add it to the base house with double-sided adhesive.

Use a craft knife to trim the top of the house and attach the bronze roof piece.

Attach to the top of the house.

Fussy cut the lilac pieces and layer them onto the swing. So pretty!
Add the window frame and your layered porch swing to the front of your card.

Attach the two hanging baskets to the porch scene.

Decorate with another bird and rose sticker along with additional floral embellishments from the Wishing Well Embellishments.

Finish with a coordinating gold foil and purple floral embellishment in the bottom left corner and add a sweet little cat to complete the scene.
Now you have a cheerful card that is filled with depth and perspective.

What’s great is that you can use any of your favorite papers and flowers to create a porch for any season or occasion.

The little details bring everything to life and make every project feel extra special.

Don't you just want to sit down on this sweet porch swing?

I’m so excited to work with this new die. I’m going to see if the Fall/Halloween Embellishment Pack from the Flower Cart Craft Box will work. But I’m definitely going to go for a Fall and Halloween version, Pumpkins and scarecrows on the porch and ghosts, bats and witches.
