Flowing Bow Dies- Made Easy

Flowing Bow Dies- Made Easy

Hi Crafters,

There’s something so delightful about adding bows to your paper projects. They bring movement, charm and just the right touch of elegance. Today we’re creating a beautiful dimensional card using the Flowing Bows Dies set. What’s great is that this set lets you turn flat paper into gorgeous, lifelike bows that feel like ribbon. You get intricate bow dies, layering pieces for dimension and all the shapes you need to create flowing, graceful embellishments that truly stand out. So pretty!

Today, we’re going to make a lovely card full of soft lavender tones and flowing details. Come get crafty with us!

First, cut two bows out of the fancy foil cardstock. This gives you that rich shine that makes everything feel extra special.

Next, cut the lavender shimmer paper using the intricate Gothic Revival Die with the inner shadow layer nested inside. This creates that detailed, elegant frame.

Now you, create a shadow frame using the outer and inner shadow layers on the lavender matte foil. Use the intricate frame as your guide for perfect placement. What’s great is this trick keeps everything aligned beautifully.

Place double-sided adhesive on each ribbon tail end. This makes assembly smooth and secure.

Use a bone folder or scissors to gently curl the ends. You don’t want a hard crease! This step adds that flowing, ribbon-like movement. It’s always fun to see the paper come to life.

Peel off the backing and secure the tails to the middle of the bow. Create two of these dimensional bows.

So so pretty!

Onto your card base, add both the lavender matte foil frame and the lavender shimmer frame. Layering these creates depth and elegance.

Add a collage of flower stickers. Let your creativity guide you. Mixing florals gives your card a soft, romantic feel. These are from the Anniversary Stickers.

Add a gold foil flourish to the bottom middle and a sentiment to the left side. Just your style!

Finally, add your two dimensional bows slightly askew. This gives the illusion of movement, like they’re floating across your card.

Mixing patterns is a great way to create an interesting card for any occasion.

These flowing bows add just the right movement to your paper projects. Use multiples on your cards for extra impact.

These bows are just the thing to finish any paper project.

As shared in the video tutorial, using a bone folder to gently curl the paper helps break the fibers so your bows stay soft and dimensional, even after mailing. What’s great is that this technique keeps your embellishments looking lifelike and beautiful every time.

You are going to love how easy it is to create something so elegant with just a few steps. This project is perfect for experimenting with layers, textures and dimension. Give it a try and share your version with our crafting community. We love seeing what you create!

Wow, what an amazing bow card. I have to start making mine. One of the girls in my group in So. California, Claudia, use that bow on her gifts and they are better than any bow you can purchase. Love this die
