Fan Mail Friday- November 14th, 2025

Hi everyone,

Today is not just any Fan Mail Friday— it’s the first day of Create 2025! Can you believe it? We are officially kicking off our biggest crafting celebration of the year, and what a joyful, heart-filled moment it is! While you’re reading this, we’re opening the event and getting ready for three unforgettable days of creativity, connection and community. We're pre-recording this week's Fan Mail so we can soak up every moment with our 2,300 participants, but don't worry, your beautiful cards and letters are still front and center. Let's dive into this amazing display of creativity and gratitude!

Watch the videos:

Pamela sent a gorgeous fall card, reminding us of the season’s blessings with this beautiful message: Gratitude opens our eyes. Generosity extends our hands. Kindness illuminates the path for everyone. She's looking forward to Create and sent warm Thanksgiving wishes too!

Joyce is getting ahead of the holidays with a stunning Thanksgiving card and our first Christmas card of the season! Her kirigami card is just gorgeous, and she says she loves loves loves those cards— what a festive start!

Terry created an adorable card using the Create 2025 postbox dies and included a sweet kitty and thank you inside. It’s her first year at Create and she is beyond excited! She called the event “simply amazing” and had glowing words for the prep, products, and team— Terry, welcome aboard!

Angela from Southampton, New Hampshire, mailed in a special treat— a recipe card for whipped shortbread cookies! This family favorite is part of our big recipe swap on Sunday, and she says it’s best enjoyed with a cup of Earl Grey. What a sweet way to share love across our community!

Belinda and Tom sent their annual wrapped tissues using paper from the Jasmine collection. She knows how emotional Create can be— full of touching moments and beautiful friendships. Belinda, thank you for being our tissue sponsor every year and always thinking ahead!

And then, just when we thought we’d seen it all... a magical surprise arrived from Martha and Friends. Sixty loving hands created a community recipe swap box that took our breaths away. It’s filled with handwritten recipes, decorated cards, notes, envelopes, teabags and sweet stories from across the Anna Griffin crafting family. Mary Beth kicked it off with the most beautiful recipe card and a little tea cake gift, and that was just the beginning!

We had everything from frog eye salad and rotisserie chicken noodle soup to happiness cake, self-filled cupcakes, French Quarter cheese spread, orange brownies, shrimp scampi and Mrs. Fields mint cookies. Each recipe was more delightful than the last! There were sweet tips, photos, and memories tucked into every card. Martha said it best—it’s more than an exchange of recipes, it’s a celebration of friendship and creativity. Her surprise pro tip cards from “Martha’s Kitchen” are icing on the cake!

This incredible box of love brought back memories of our community cookbook and now, we have our own! Thank you to every single crafter who poured their heart into this project. You’ve created something truly unforgettable and we are so honored to receive it.

If you’ve ever thought about sending in a card or letter, this is your invitation! Fan Mail Friday is a celebration of YOU— your stories, your creativity, your heart. Send us a note, a card, or even a recipe—we'd love to share it with this amazing community.

We are so grateful for you. Happy Create 2025, everyone!

Beginning were not so fabulous but after having to seeing you then, and finding that you really are the very best crafter, I was able to become a much better one myself!!! Anna, would it be possible for you to have a recipe book printed of all the recipes that were submitted for us to purchase? Some of us were not able to participate in Create this November, but would love to have those recipes if the AG members are willing to share them.

Liked that box of love.
