Hi Griffinites,
As we head into Memorial Day weekend— a time for reflection, gratitude and remembrance, we’re feeling especially moved by the beautiful projects that arrived in the mail this week. Each card and letter has been a heartfelt thank you, not just for our Crop at Home 5 event, but for the joy, connection and creativity that we continue to share together.
Our office is overflowing with appreciation, both from you and FOR you. Whether it was a beautiful scrapbook page, an elegant thank you card or a heartfelt note, your creations reminded us of why we do what we do. You told us Crop at Home 5 was inspiring, uplifting and creatively fulfilling, and that means the world to us! From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for showing up, crafting along and making the event a true celebration of community.
Our goal is that each of you feels seen, heard and celebrated each and every day. When we receive your mail, we feel that same love and care reflected right back at us. It’s an incredible full-circle moment, and we are grateful for the special bond we share through the beauty of handmade!
This gorgeous Antique Botanical card from Jimmie Lynn definitely brought smiles to our faces! From the blue flowers to the gorgeous designs from the Carte Noire Slimline Dies, each layer comes together in such a beautiful way. Jimmie Lynn wrote to say that she had a wonderful time at Crop at Home and that she is looking forward to what we have in store for Finishing School. It's what she does in the the hot, New Mexico summers.
The Glacier Griffinites in Alaska sent this lovely Folded Flower card complete with pretty roses and messages from each! We're so glad that they have each other to craft with and that they can be creative together. Thank you Maggie, Chloe, Margarita, Kitty, Cayliah, Shannon, Kaylee, Sue and Sherri!
Lu is really putting her Antique Botanical Papers and Shaped Dies to use! She wrote to thank the team for all of the work that was put into the event, and for the amazing experience she had. Nothing makes us happier than hearing how much you enjoyed it!
It was such a delight to have Bela from Canada at Crop at Home and in our event. Her incredible card has elements from the 3D Roses, rub ons and the prettiest gold foil embellishment details. Bela included such a wonderful, heartfelt letter about how glad she is to be a part of a community where she is included, seen and heart. We are so thankful for all of you in this amazing Griffinite community.
Yadyra had a fantastic time at Crop at Home 5 and sent us this cheerful tulip card. She thanked us and the entire team for the time and effort it took to pull off a spectacular event. Thank you, Yadyra we appreciate it!
Our friend Yukari wrote to say thank you for Crop at Home 5. She made this Antique Botanical card in the style of one of the scrapbook pages we created together. She said that CAH5 has inspired her in papercrafting and allowed for self reflection. New friends were made and existing friendships deepened.
Here is the Antique Botanical card she made— stunning!
Yukari met Donna and Jim in April and decided to create scrapbook pages of the visit.
Yukari and Penny also met in March— how wonderful!
If you’ve been thinking about sending something in, this is your sign! We treasure every letter, card, and project, and nothing makes our Friday more meaningful than celebrating YOU.

I am so glad to see you are taking some much-needed time off Anna. You and your team worked so hard on Crop@Home5. It did not disappoint. These events get better and better.
On this Memorial Day Weekend, may we all take time to thank those who gave up their tomorrows so we can have today.
