Fan Mail Friday- August 21st, 2026

Hi everyone,

Welcome to Fan Mail Friday! We are still celebrating birthday month, and the beautiful cards, thoughtful gifts and cheerful pink creations keep arriving! This week’s happy mail is filled with birthday wishes, creative inspiration and heartfelt stories that remind us just how special this crafting community is.

Diane I. sent a gorgeous mirror doily card with tiny florals all the way from Edmonton, Alberta, along with a thoughtful gift. Her beautiful wish for a year overflowing with magic, light and joy made this happy mail especially meaningful.

Diane B. celebrated seven years of crafting with us with a wonderful collaged anniversary card marking thousands of cards, countless AGTV shows, a craft room overflowing with Anna Griffin treasures and, most importantly, precious memories and friendships. What a beautiful way to celebrate seven creative years together!

Jenny sent an amazing gilded pillow card with the Floral Lattice Dies from Washington filled with gorgeous foiling and acetate layers. Its beautiful 3D construction is sure to inspire lots of creative ideas. The rub on "A" on the acetate layer was the perfect finishing touch!

Tracie sent a gorgeous pink card with foil transfers, along with Ruth Hunt candies from Kentucky for the whole team. She also created a spectacular woven Charlie card with Hydrangea Dies and shared a deeply meaningful letter about how crafting and community have changed her life.

Tracie shared how she now makes cards for a local women’s and children’s shelter and carries handmade cards with her to thank servers, public workers and others who show kindness. She also shared the touching connection that Anna shares a birthday with her late father, David Stevens, an artist whom she remembers as the kindest man she ever knew.

Roxanne sent a beautiful handmade box and a treasured pair of antique gloves in the prettiest color. Her note thanked Anna for years of inspiration and shared how crafting has helped her through difficult days, making this gift even more heartfelt.

What an incredible collection of birthday wishes, pumpkins, snow globes, patriotic creations, handmade treasures and stories of friendship! Every card and letter shows how creativity can connect us, encourage us and help us share a little more beauty with the people around us.
