Today, we're going to show you how to use a simple fussy cutting technique to create a dimensional Thanksgiving card. It's always fun to take something beautiful and make it even more spectacular. Come get crafty with us!
Start by choosing two matching postcards from the set. Use a craft knife to carefully cut around the decorative design on one postcard, creating a beautiful frame. Follow the scrollwork and leaves for an intricate look. Save the center piece for another project!
Add four embellishments along one side of your decorative card base. Mix pretty autumn leaves with gold foil accents for a lovely fall border.
Repeat the arrangement on the opposite side of the card. Now you have a beautiful, balanced border that frames your design.
Attach one of the Thanksgiving postcards to the center of your card using foam adhesive. The vintage artwork makes such a lovely focal point!
Apply foam adhesive to the back of your fussy cut frame. Layer it directly over the matching postcard to give the design beautiful dimension. So pretty!
Arrange a few of the included leaves and butterfly embellishments at the upper left corner of the postcard. Let them overlap the raised frame for a natural, layered look.
Add a few more embellishments to connect the decorative elements to the frame. The leaves and delicate details make everything look like one beautiful composition.
Finish with a couple more butterflies and a shimmering gold foil embellishment. These final touches give your Thanksgiving card that signature Anna Griffin elegance!

I had to laugh when you said it was easy to use the Craft knife. HA! Not for me. It is my nemesis. I can use it, but I still struggle with it.
This is just in time for my Thanksgiving card making, which I need to get back to now that my Halloween cards are all mailed.
