Fall Flower Embellishments- Made Easy

Fall flowers are some of the prettiest things about the season! From colorful mums and chrysanthemums to gorgeous roses and marigolds, there's so much beauty to bring to your handmade cards. Today on Charm School, we're creating a lovely layered birthday card with the Fall Florals and Foil Bundle.

This beautiful set includes 80 dimensional cardstock stickers, with 4 each of 20 different designs. You'll find gorgeous flowers in rich reds, warm oranges, pretty purples and all of your favorite autumn colors along with the Lavender Luxury Matte Foil. Just peel, stick and create! What's great is that these embellishments make it easy to add beautiful floral arrangements to any project. Come make something pretty with us!

First, use the Rectangle Pattern 3D Layer Dies to cut and emboss a piece of patterned cardstock. Ours is from the In the Garden Papercrafting Kit. Look at that beautiful texture! The Empress Elite Mini makes this so easy.

Next, take 2 border stickers from the Create Everyday Border Stickers and cut them to create a custom frame for your card. Cut your strips to 4 1/4" and 6 1/4" lengths.

Trim away a little of the gray edge to make your borders thinner. Now, overlap the corners to create a beautiful frame.

Cut diagonally through the overlapping corners with a pair of scissors to create perfect mitered edges. Remove the excess pieces and watch how beautifully the corners fit together. So fancy!

Add your lavender diecut and embossed frame layer to a card base from the Birthday Present Card Making Kit. Our embossed layer is from the members-only Harvest Molding Dies.

Place your mitered border stickers just inside the lavender frame. It's always fun to find new ways to use border stickers!

Next, add your gold shadow layer from the Rectangle Pattern 3D Layer Dies.

Add your beautiful textured butterfly layer on top. The combination of patterned paper, gold foil and dimensional embossing is just lovely!

Now it's sticker time! Peel the backing from one of the purple flowers in the Fall Flower Embellishments and tuck it under the top right corner of your layers.

Next, add the decorative oval frame from the Harvest Molding Dies to the butterfly layer with foam adhesive. This gives your card even more dimension.

Add another purple flower to the top right of the oval frame. Let the flowers overlap the oval for a beautiful collage effect.

Now, move to the bottom of your card and add more purple flowers. Balance your arrangement by placing flowers on both the left and right sides.

Tuck in a gold flourish or two to bring everything together. There's a gracious plenty to work with!

Finish with a Make A Wish Sentiment to send a birthday greeting that will make anyone smile.

Just like that, you've created a gorgeous birthday card with beautiful fall flowers! We used just 5 stickers from the 80 included in the set. Think of all the pretty things you can make with the rest!

We are in love with the rich burgundy mums, colorful chrysanthemums and gorgeous fall roses.

Mix the reds together for a dramatic look, create something cheerful with the oranges or keep things soft and elegant with the purples.

There's no wrong way to arrange these beautiful blooms. Make it just your style!
