Dad's Tools, Stamps and Dies- Made Easy

First, we're going to try a fun stamping technique! Attach the paintbrush stamp to your acrylic block and ink it using two colors— try grey and sage green (from our Perfect Palette Inks) for a cool, layered look.

Stamp the paintbrush onto gold cardstock from the Perfect Palette 6x8 Cardstock. Save yourself a step!

Diecut the stamped image with the matching die and run it through your diecutting machine. The Empress Elite makes it easy!

Use the Romantic 3D Concentric Dies (or anyone your frame dies) to cut a window from the center of your card front. Save that center piece— you’ll use it again.

Nothing illuminates like our Gold Matte Foil Cardstock. Diecut your gold matte foil with the same Romantic Dies to add that luxurious gleam to your card.

Layer the gold piece over a scripted shadow diecut from the Garden Fountain Easel Finishing School Craft Box using foam adhesive.

What's great about our stamp sets is that they are wonderful embellishment makers. Stamp two black ladders on cream cardstock from the Perfect Palette 6x8 Cardstock.

Add your saved gold center piece and small gold diecut to the center of the card. Then place a ladder on top as shown.

Slip your stamped paintbrush behind the center layers at an angle for a pop of color and detail.

Stamp and diecut the “You’re the Sharpest Tool in the Shed” sentiment. It’s just perfect for the occasion!

Decorate the bottom with a coordinating stamped saw and vintage tool chest. They add charm and character!
