Hi Crafters,
Sending a handmade card with a message of faith and encouragement is always meaningful. Today we are creating a beautiful card using the Cross Stamps and Dies. This set is truly special because it features 12 intricate clear stamps inspired by antique engravings and 12 perfectly coordinating cutting dies that make creating elegant embellishments so easy. What’s great is that you can pair the stamps with your favorite inks, cardstock and papers from your craft room to create cards for Easter, sympathy, baptisms, confirmations and so many other heartfelt occasions.
For today’s project we are also using the Perfect Palette Inks, Foliage Color Cardstock, the Album Dies and Folder, the Card Layer Photo Mat Bundle, Pink Matte Foil Cardstock, Virginia Papers and Embellishments, Garden Floral Stickers and the Beautiful Blessings Sentiment Stickers. Everything mixes together so beautifully to create a layered card that is perfect for spring.
Now you, let’s get crafting together.
Start by stamping the cross from the Cross Stamps and Dies using the Perfect Palette Inks onto the Foliage Color Cardstock.

We like to use a foam mat when stamping so that you get a nice even impression. So pretty when you stamp tone on tone.

After you have stamped your image, choose the coordinating die and cut out your cross. Run it through your diecutting machine to create a beautiful embellishment ready for your card.

Create the background of your card using frames from your craft room. We used the Album Dies and Folder along with the Card Layer Photo Mat Bundle and Pink Matte Foil Cardstock. What’s great is that layering frames adds instant elegance.

Add a layer from the Virginia Papers and Embellishments and then add the shadow layer from the Album Dies and Folder. It’s always fun to combine different textures and patterns.

Layer the two pink frame diecuts together to create a dimensional focal point for your card.

Add a rose sticker from the Garden Floral Stickers along with a gold foil flourish. Just a few embellishments make everything feel lush and decorative.

Place your stamped cross right in the middle of the layered frames so it becomes the center of the design.

Add another gold foil flourish, a rose sticker and a sentiment from the Beautiful Blessings Sentiment Stickers at the bottom of the card.

Stamp endless embellishments in all of your favorite inks. What’s great is that you can stamp all twelve designs at once and keep them ready for future projects.

From Easter cards to faith-based occasions, you will find yourself reaching for this set again and again. The designs are timeless and elegant, and just the thing to send comfort, encouragement and blessings through your handmade cards.

We hope today’s project inspires you to bring out your Cross Stamps and Dies and start creating. It’s always fun to experiment with different inks, papers and embellishments to make something meaningful to share with the people you love. Handmade cards like this bring beauty and encouragement into the world, and that’s what our crafting community is all about.

I like how you used the dies from an older die set. We can use what we have in our stash. Mix the old with the new. Your style is timeless.
