Craftspiration- Happy Thanksgiving!

Hi friends,

Happy Thanksgiving to you! Today is the day that we gather together and give thanks for all that we have and for the people that make our lives rich in love and community. We are beyond thankful for each and every one of you. We are appreciative of your generosity with each other, the support you offer each other and the encouragement freely given to your fellow crafter. It is truly a beautiful thing to see! Speaking of beauty, this week's Craftspiration is a testiment to the creativity and talent of the Griffinite community. We marvel at the gorgeous things you make and the beautiful hearts represented below.

Donna posted, "This shadow box will be a Christmas gift for my daughter. I thought it was a nice way to create a keepsake of the fan. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!"

Marie said, "I think I’m finally done with the last of my Thanksgiving cards. So grateful to have beautiful supplies that help convey an attitude of gratitude in my heart. Happy Thanksgiving!"

 

Arlene posted, "This week decided to make a Victorian Fan to put in my fan box. Switched it up since I did not want all my fans to be the same while still using the Anna Griffin products. For the top of the French Fan die used the 3D Fancy French frames dies and the Oblong 3D Concentric Layer dies. Found a packet of Anna rub on alphabet letters from 2009 and was able to spell out the word ADORE."

Diane said, "My Sunday Share is the cutest Santa pieced together from the Mr. Claus 3D Die Set. I used Shimmer Gold paper, Gold Matte Foil, white flocked paper for the trim & mounted him on a Shimmer Green oval. Mr. Claus is on red, green & gold plaid cardstock adorned with Anna’s Christmas embellishments."

Clare wrote, "I've been getting into the Christmas spirit this week by making treat boxes with the Create 10 die set. It only takes one 5x7 card layer, cut in half horizontally, to add any patterned cardstock you want to the long sides. Lots of possibilities. Make, bake, gift!"

Sherry said, "I gave my granddaughter the Simply Christmas Card Making Kit and here is one of the cards she made. So loves the kit, that she can make cards for her family & friends, and loves the she can sign her name on the back. So far I have gifted a Simply card making kit to a half dozen friends and they all love their kit. I would like to request a kit that has cards for more than one occasion because what I hear from my friends is that they would like to have an assortment of cards for different occasions."

Jane wrote, "Hello Pumpkin! This reminds me of Charlie Brown. Anna Griffin Inc. makes the cutest ephemera."

Lu posted, "I made 10 of these for a Thanksgiving card exchange. Happy Sunday and have a blessed Thanksgiving!"

Shellie shared, "Life is full, at Thanksgiving time and every day; AND, it's more rewarding when we complete beautiful papercrafting projects! Today, I revisited and replayed CREATE 10 Theatrical Greetings Class that I wasn't able to participate in during the Event, and made Cards 1 and 2. I'm feeling accomplished, and inspired all over again, and now die-cutting some special cardstocks to make holiday creations this week. THANK YOU, Anna, for these fun, creative new die-designs!"

Mary Beth posted, "Bits and pieces from years past...A few more to make then it's into the mail!!"

Diane said, "Happy Thanksgiving to all. The Simply Thanksgiving Card Kit is the best color palette ever."

Susan wished us, "Happy Thanksgiving!"

Mignon said, "I made a birthday card for my Sorority Sister using the Create 10 Theatre Die and Anna Griffin matte foil."

Evelyne shared, "I’ve been working on these adorable shoe ornaments for an all girls Christmas luncheon. I thought I could turn them into favors. Love them."

Loretta shared, "My grandson was just in a musical at school, Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory where he played Charlie. I had a couple of programs and used them for backdrop and the sides, cut figures our from pictures I took and had to add extra paper to the strips where I put several figures so it can’t close but he was thrilled when I gave it to him and said he loved it and was going to show it to other cast members. I’m happy on how it turned out."

Tina wrote, "Hello, Friends! Family members who actually own a tractor will be getting these fun his and her cards, fully embellished with Harvest Embellishment Stickers and made with the Tractor Easel Dies (generously shared by Mayflower Lorri during her stop chez moi on her summer tour)."
