Various holiday cards with dogs and cats

Craftspiration- December 19th, 2024

Hi friends,

Welcome to Craftspiration, where we like to present our crafting community with wonderful crafting ideas, spectacular cards and a glimpse into the creativity that abounds in this community. Today, we are showing off some amazing cards, scrapbook pages and projects that will have you saying "wow"!

Dayle posted, "My Sunday share is the Christmas Truck Easel Dies card. My daughter and her family love to pile in their truck for fun rides during the winter."

Lillian said, "This card was made for my Dance Fit class teacher...I hope she likes it. I just love the glitter accents!"
It's so much fun to see the old Nutcracker Dies!
Shellie wrote, "This Sunday Share is Eyelet Frame ivory and gold, woven-ribbon style as learned recently at CREATE 10. It reminds me of the cherished Lenox ornaments given, and passed on to me from my late mother-in-law."
Jane shared, "Card No. 51 for Week 51 of the Make one Christmas card every week challenge my AZ Griffin Gals are participating thanks to my friend Lu Edwards. There's no other way this year I could have created over 50 Christmas cards for myself. I donated a few to a local charity. The remainder will hopefully, and finally, be mailed off tomorrow. I love how the Anna Griffin Inc. Christmas Mini Botanical Dies go beautifully with the Madonna and Child newer dies. This is a perfect example how you can craft using older tools with newer tools. I have been using these mini botanical poinsettias since they launched. I use them every year and I absolutely love them!"
Heidi said, "I finished all my cards and have sent them out. Phew 98 cards are making their way around the country."
Wow! Amazing job!
Terry wrote, "Today I'm sharing a card for my sister-in-law's birthday. The dog is from the Fur Baby Dog Stickers, and looks a lot like her dog, Millie. The dies are Birthday Greetings, Fancy French Frame, and Stylish Hats. The paper and flower stickers are from the Thankfulness collection."
Absolutely stunning!
Clare shared, "Gifts from Advent Calendar tags! I put a dozen tags in each box I made with the All Boxed In Die Set, with panels die cut from the lid of my calendar. These are going in a gift bag with a roll of wrapping paper, tape and some ribbon. I used elastic gold cord to close the boxes so the recipients can easily use and store the tags. Now, off to deliver these far and wide."
This is so creative and wonderful!
Sabrina posted, "My last Christmas card for the season."
Maria said, "A quick thank you card to a local greenhouse where I took a wreath making class. Love how all the AG products work together to create exactly what you need."
Clare shared, "The brass colored metallic paper from the Holiday foil card stock pack is so fabulous for a dramatic but simple card."
Terry wrote, "I haven’t posted in a while, just needing a reset, but I have been busy making many, many cards, so I will post several times. Here we go! My daughter walks dogs part time for seniors, so these are 4x6 notecards she will give them."
Arlene shared, "First time using the “Woodie” die! It is a fun die!"
Shirley posted, "Made about two dozen Christmas cards for my crafty friends using Christmas Wishes 3D concentric die, Retro Holly Stickers and perfect Poinsettias 3D Stickers. I had fun making them."
Each one is more beautiful than the next!
You can feel the holiday magic coming through each card as you scroll can't you? Thank you for posting all of these wonderful projects this week. We hope that you are all able to pause, be creative and experience joy during this holiday season. Thank you Heidi and Shirley for ideas for next year. Jane for the one a week push, I took an archive box and did them all. Leslie your the idea of doing the one a week specific is great. I like die cutting or selecting a monthly theme: Angels and Nativities, Santas and Snowmen or holiday botanicals. Then by the end of the year an assortment. It’s less clutter in the making! All are such inspired beauty. Christmas Blessings everyone.

I’m new to the Griffinite universe but I’m thrilled to be here. So much inspiration for crafting but also the warmth of Anna, her staff and the Griffinite community.

Craftspiration is always fun. The projects are all beautiful. I have gotten so many thank you’s and compliments on my cards this year. I tell everyone it’s all Anna’s beautiful supplies. Thanks Anna.

Everything is just so lovely. I think I will try to make my Christmas cards throughout the year next year. Seems like I get behind because I do Create, and I get so involved in ALL those lovely projects. Then I realize I still need to make my Thanksgiving and Christmas cards. I may not make one a week, but I may try for 3 a month. I just can’t do them one at a time. Perhaps the secret will be doing the die cutting one day, and if I need more do another day of die cutting. Then when I have a few hours, putting them together.
I can’t believe this is the last Craftspration before Christmas.
Merry Christmas to one and all!
Happy Crafting!
