Hello Griffinites,

Happy Thursday to you! Seeing your wonderful projects each week never ceases to amaze us! This week we started to see Mother’s Day projects pop up along with beautiful birthday projects, anniversary cards and more. Come see what was made and shared this week; you are bound to find something that inspires your papercrafting this week!

Jane wrote, “Good morning 🏜! My Sunday Share is a Square Box Die | Shadow Box Card I crafted for my Aunt Queenie. There’s a photo in there of myself with my cousins and my brother. She absolutely loves the world of Anna Griffin and I wanted to create something super special for her, to send her sunshine & lift her spirits, and to show her she is loved! Additionally, I used Carte Noire paper crafting kit, the mini sentiment stickers, the Square Compendium Dies, plus the Cartouche Cut and Emboss Folders.”

She’s going to love it!

Sherry shared, “I took a break from making my quilted purses to make a card for my husband. This is a Simply birthday card (with a generic sentiment) added some magic using Concentric Card dies, some Favorite Flowers 3, Foliage and a Hummingbird. But the best is finishing it off with a Simply Card Stand to match the card. I LOVE THE CARD STAND!”

Wow, gorgeous! Great work, Sherry!

Yvonne said, “Making the Purse Box card is more fun than cleaning house lol!! For this one I used the Juliet pink and black stripe card stock. Embellished with pink Mascara Roses and several butterflies. Inserted a flat card with the sentiment Each new day is a special Gift. Open it! Celebrate. Enjoy it! Happy Mother’s Day.”

Pretty, pretty!

Kaye said, “This card is for a friend’s son who is in 6th grade. (They happen to have a dachshund named Dixie.) The patterned paper and sticker embellishments are from Anna’s Fifi & Fido Papercrafting kit. The “hello” die, embossing folder (to match the patterned paper!) and the solid papers are from Anna, as well.”

Karenbeatrice shared, “I made this card this weekend for a dear commuter friend who is retiring from the NYPD after more than 30 years! I used the Anna Griffin Antique Train Slimline Easel Card Die and fashioned it after the Metro North Train we commute into Manhattan everyday. I used Anna Griffin wonderful Black Matte paper from the Spooky Album, Matte Silver card stock, Handsome Matte Blue, Foil Flourishes Decorate Stickers in Silver for the smoke, my favorite Mascara Roses, and Simple Signature Cards which is perfect because its large enough for all 5 of us to sign. I hope the gang likes what I did and I hope Kate the retiree does as well. The trickiest part was getting everyones picture, sizing it and getting us in the windows. It was a fun card to make. This die really is versatile!”

Such a special card!

Elisabeth posted, “Here is my 3D version of the flower cart to celebrate the upcoming summer holidays. On one side of the cart Memorial Day on the other side The 4th of July . I just switch out the appropriate removable paperdolls for each holiday. I am fortunate enough to own a printer that copies and scans . I used the copy feature to enlarge and reduce certain AG diecuts such as the flags, Home of the Brave sticker and american eagle on a shield . I used wooden tooth picks painted gold for the flag poles . AG Dies used to create this cart :Flower Cart Die set , 3D decorative border dies, Rosette Cut and Emboss Dies. AG Ephemera used : FS Celebration Chest, Madison Collection of 25 titles ,tags and quotes, and Mini House Decorative Die Cuts. I used my Cricut to make the awning and sandwich board.”

We are always in awe of Beth’s amazing papercrafting!
