Today we’re making a beautifully elegant nativity‑card that highlights the reason for the season with a serene scene and luxe finishes. We’re using the gorgeous sentiments from the Christmas Blessings Sentiment Stickers. What a joy to have everything you need for heart‑felt handmade cards! Included in the set: 80 sentiment stickers (4 each of 20 designs) in a smart storage folio— ideal to keep organized and ready to go. 

What’s great is how these stickers pair perfectly with die‑cut scenes from your craft room. They give you an elegant, meaningful card in no time!

Cut out the Mary and Joseph from a variety of cardstock colors: gold foil, metallic gold, dark green, silver, etc. Save all the extra pieces for the inlay technique.

Use the two background dies from the Mary and Joseph die set to create the backdrop for your card.

Use an embossing folder to add design to a navy rectangle of cardstock.

Choose a festive card— ours is from the Christmas Greetings Card Making Kit—and add two flourishes and a holly embellishment to the top left and bottom right corners.

Attach your layered background to the card.

Place clear tape on the back of the intricate embellishment and then place the extra die‑cut pieces into it.

The inlay technique design really makes your die‑cut stand out!

Layer on pieces to highlight certain parts of the die‑cut. 

Offset your Mary and Joseph die‑cut as shown to give a halo‑like effect.

Add a poinsettia embellishment behind the left corner of the die‑cut.

Add another poinsettia embellishment and a “Sending Christmas Joy” sentiment from the sticker set to the bottom left of the Mary and Joseph die‑cut.
