Card Layer Photo Mat Bundle- Made Easy

Hi Crafters,

It’s always fun to turn beautiful papers into something meaningful, and today’s project is just your style! We’re working with the Card Layers and Photomat Bundle, and what’s great is everything you need comes right inside. You get 96 sheets of 5” x 7” cardstock that are double-sided with gorgeous foil on one side and stunning patterns on the other. So pretty! The colors range from soft pinks and lavenders to rich greens and blues, giving you endless combinations to mix and match. With so many layers, you truly have a gracious plenty to create scrapbook pages, cards and more.

Today, we’re creating a scrapbook layout with a lovely patchwork feel. Come get crafty with us!

Start by taking 2 of the card layers and use the Crop at Home 5 Frame Dies to cut out 2 rectangles.

Cut out 2 of the intricate rectangles from additional layers. These will add that beautiful detail you love.

Nest the medium intricate layer with an inner shadow layer to create a frame. Repeat to make 2 frames. Now you have dimension and elegance all in one.

Cut a solid frame from 2 pieces of matte gold cardstock. This adds that signature shine.

Attach 4 of the card layers around a 12 x 12 piece of cardstock to create a fun patchwork background. It’s always fun to see it come together like a quilt. Add your 2 rectangles to the top left and bottom right sections of your layout.

Add the smaller rectangles inside with foam adhesive. Place the frames on top of those rectangles as shown. So pretty already!

Add the smaller rectangles inside using foam adhesive. What’s great is this gives your page that lifted, layered look.

Add the solid frames with your photos to the top right and bottom left quadrants. Now you’re telling your story.

Decorate the top left rectangle with embellishments from the Antique Botanical Ultimate Papercrafting Collection. Just your style with those vintage florals.

Add an embellishment to the bottom left of the photo.

Create a collage on the other layered rectangle. Mix and match pieces. It’s always fun to play with placement.

Add a cluster of embellishments and a journaling tag to the center of the scrapbook page. This ties everything together beautifully.
