AGTV: Livestream Lowdown- Holiday Crafts

The holidays are upon us, and so is our latest AGTV: Holiday Crafts show! With Christmas just 50 days away, we gathered for a festive hour of creativity, conversation, and inspiration— all designed to help you add the finishing touches to your handmade holiday projects.

We opened the show by crafting with the Christmas Postcard Card Making Kit, where vintage ephemera from the archive was reimagined into elegant greetings ready to send. With 52 pieces featuring traditional red and green designs, this kit makes it easy to create heirloom-worthy cards that capture the magic of Old World Christmas.

Next, we turned our attention to the Noel Papers & Embellishments— a 321-piece collection that includes double-sided card stock, borders, journaling tags, and 3D embellishments. We shared how this set beautifully coordinates for holiday scrapbooking, capturing cherished memories in classic seasonal style.

We revisited one of this year’s favorite traditions with the Paper Ornaments Advent Calendar. Each of the twelve 3D ornaments, inspired by The Nutcracker, offers a new surprise to craft and display. With every handmade piece, you’ll create lasting keepsakes to decorate your tree for years to come.

Then, special guest Lisa Pindell joined us live! Lisa, a newly retired school nurse from South Carolina and first-time Create attendee, shared her excitement for the upcoming event and how the prep videos inspired her creativity. She also told us about a heartfelt scrapbook she made as a wedding gift— reminding us all of the power of handmade memories.

We continued our show with a look at Luxury Christmas Present Cardstock and Luxury Luster Foil Cardstock— two opulent collections that make every project shine. These heavy, double-sided papers in rich red, gold, navy and silver are ideal for boxes, ornaments and dimensional cards that sparkle all season long.

Next came the Reason for the Season Embellishments, a breathtaking set of 80 dimensional stickers featuring Madonna and Child artwork, nativity scenes and more from the archive. These meaningful designs pair beautifully with the Christmas Stickers & Sentiments, a 120-piece set that adds a touch of timeless charm to every holiday greeting.

We also showcased the Village Easel Dies, perfect for creating a cozy, paper-crafted town scene complete with churches, shops, and snow-topped roofs. We demonstrated how to mix shimmer and foil papers to make four charming easel cards at once— a true fan favorite!

For a touch of reverence, we featured the 3D Madonna Frame Dies, inspired by a 1930s Christmas card. This elegant design highlights the divine feminine through layered halos, flowing robes and intricate embossing— an exquisite way to honor the season’s true meaning.

We wrapped up the crafting portion with the Christmas Greetings Rub On Transfers, featuring 128 sentiments in festive typography. Perfect for cards, tags or ribbon, these transfers make every handmade project look professionally printed with ease.
