3D Roses Cut and Emboss Folders- Made Easy

Hi friends,

We're back with another tutorial for you, and this one is just the thing for spring crafting! Get out your 3D Roses Cut and Emboss Folders and let's get creative. What's great about this set is that we have never done a cut of cut and emboss folders with the dies embedded inside! So you will get the most magical, sculpted paper effect with one run through your Empress Elite machine! The depth and detail in the roses you create are second to none!

We are going to take the diecuts a step further by bringing them to life with ink. Head to the craft room, we're going to make something beautiful together!

First we cut flowers out of ivory cardstock using the 3D Roses Cut and Emboss Folders. For easy release, we added a piece of wax paper on top of the cardstock.

We used daubers to place ink on the flowers to mimic light and shadows on each flower and on the stems.

Next, we added a frame die (this one is from our Fancy French Frame Dies) to a pink card (from Birthday Perfect Pattern Cards and Envelopes).

Start adding your inked flowers to the card with foam adhesive.

Add the final bloom as shown; we love working with odd numbers!

Add a sentiment and a gold foil flourish underneath it.

This card is great for any number of occasions. If you are participating with us on Facebook for our National Craft Month contest, this would be a great card to make and send to encourage and uplift someone!

No matter what paper you use, you will get incredible detail with your 3D Roses Cut and Emboss Folders. Just look how this Matte Gold Foil Cardstock transformed!

Here's a fun idea! Use patterned paper to create your flowers and ink to add depth.

The combination of solid, metallic and matte foil flowers makes for a beautiful bouquet!

Flowers for spring can be groundbreaking! You will love the quick, easy flowers that you can create with the 3D Roses Cut and Emboss Folders. If you don't have this set, then you can get it on sale this week.

Roses always find a way on to my paper creations. Hydrangeas and roses make my heart flutter with joy.

Beautiful roses, Anna’s card matches the Magnetic Glass Mat.
I’m technically challenged, all this week I can’t get to Anna’s Blog on my IPhone, I can’t get past the YouTube video. I’ve been only able to get to the blog on my tablet and laptop only. I’m going to ask my kids for help.

I am happy to be using inks more.

These roses are gorgeous! Thank you for demonstrating how we can ink these – it’s another tool in our crafty tool box.
