3D Locket Card Dies- Made Easy

There’s something so meaningful about turning memories into something you can hold in your hands. Today’s project is all about heartfelt connection with the Locket Card Die Set. It’s always fun to create something that feels like a keepsake, and you're going to love this one. What’s great is that this beautiful set includes the full locket-shaped card die, an ornate engraved front die, coordinating frame dies, inner dies for perfectly cropping photos, and an elegant sentiment die that makes every project feel extra special. You can create cards, mini albums and more, all with one stunning set!

Today, we’re going to make a locket card that doubles as a treasured keepsake. So pretty and so personal. Come craft along with us!

First, diecut the locket shadow from Thankfulness Cardstock and tuck a small piece of matte gold foil at the top for strength. Next, cut the intricate locket design from gold and repeat the design in red for a layered look. Then, diecut the smaller intricate layer from red and use the coordinating inner die to crop your photo perfectly.

Now you, use a craft knife to carefully remove the inner design from the layer for that beautiful openwork effect. Trim the bottom off the gold locket topper to refine the shape.

Add the gold intricate layer to the front using foam adhesive for dimension.

Attach the fussy cut red layer with double-sided adhesive so it lays flat and crisp.

Embellish the front with Thankfulness Floral Stickers and a lovely sentiment. Add your fussy cut gold diecut.

Attach a double bow to the top of the locket. It’s always fun to add that finishing touch!

Open the card and adhere a red layer to the inside.

Place your photo inside the frame. So pretty!

Add another red layer, a sentiment and a pair of stickers to complete the inside.

Now you have a birthday card that doubles as a keepsake to send and cherish.

Create even more by cutting two lockets and joining them into a mini album.

Use this design to commemorate weddings, anniversaries or any special moment.

Mix your favorite papers, colors and patterns for something new every time.

Add photos to make each project deeply personal and meaningful.
