3D Interactive Pulley Dies- Made Easy

Hi Griffinites,

For today's Made Easy tutorial, we are going to make the most beautiful card with the 3D Interactive Pulley Dies. This set of 12 dies makes an incredible, moveable card reminiscent of old world valentines and cards. All you have to do is pick out your favorite papers and embellishments to bring your card to life! They can be made for any occasion, and are sure to wow anyone who receives them!

Get out your 3D Interactive Pulley Dies and let's make a card together!

First, we cut the card base and mechanism from the Tea Cup Cardstock.

Next, we cut the these pieces in the same pattern.

Nothing shows off the details of one of our 3D dies like our matte foil cardstock. We cute these layers from the Ice Blue Matte Foil Cardstock.

We embossed a layer, and added it with double-sided adhesive.

Another embossed layer is added to the bottom front of the card.

Using foam adhesive for dimension, add an embellished layer to the top, front of the card. We used the Romantic Stickers and Sentiments to decorate ours.

For the larger, moveable layer, you will need to attach the mechanism. Adhesive placement is important. Place it as shown below to ensure that your layers move freely.

The mechanism forms a rectangle with only the top section free of adhesive.

Attach your first layer to the middle of the card as shown.

Next, the other mechanism is formed to attach to the smaller layer.

It attaches to the middle of the larger, moveable layer.

Here is a side image of what your card layers should look like.

Send lots of love for a birthday or anniversary.

Play with your favorite cardstock colors, matte foil colors and embellishments.

These interactive cards are just what you need to send cheers!

Extra special birthday cards are easy with the 3D Interactive Pulley Dies!

The creations you can make with the 3D Interactive Pulley Dies are endless. You can customize each card with all of your favorite papers, patterns, embellishments and more. We have enjoyed seeing all of the ways you are being creative with this intricate die set. Keep sharing your projects with us; we love to see your beautiful interpretations and know who they are going to.

After watching this tutorial I think I may need to purchase. You made it look easier than I thought it would be. Just ordered the Tea Pot die and making my list for a couple more items. Thanks Anna. 🌸

I purchased this die set but haven’t used it yet; was intimidated by how complicated the instructions seemed. I appreciate the step-by-step instructions that you have provided, Anna, and will not be scared of this set any longer!
