Vintage Valentine Diecuts- Made Easy

If you adore the charm of antique valentines and all things romantic, then this week’s project is sure to win your heart! We’re crafting a breathtaking framed valentine using the Vintage Valentine Die Cuts, and it’s overflowing with elegance. You’ll love the mix of vintage-inspired artwork and timeless shapes. This set includes 84 beautiful die cuts that include: cherubs, florals, old-world engravings, envelopes and more. They are all designed from antique ephemera in our incredible archive.

We’re pairing them with the Photo Finish Easel Dies and Enchanted Heart Dies for a card that looks like a keepsake straight from a Victorian love letter. Plus, you’ll be crafting with our beloved Francesca Collection, Shimmer and Matte Foil Cardstocks—so pretty, so romantic and just for you.

Let’s make a valentine that’s as heartfelt as it is handmade!

Align the shadow layer from the Photo Finish Easel Dies slightly over the fold of an ivory card to create your shaped base. 

Cut another shadow layer from light green cardstock in the Francesca Collection. So soft and dreamy!

Cut two intricate frames from Pink Matte Foil Cardstock. These will layer beautifully for extra dimension. Diecut a light pink heart from the Shimmer Cardstock and a champagne heart using the Enchanted Heart Dies. Don’t forget two sets of champagne corners— such a lovely detail!

Adhere the Francesca green layer onto the front of your shaped card. It’s the perfect background for what’s to come.

Layer your two pink foil frames together and add rose gold corners to all four sides. Now it looks like a romantic frame!

Place your light pink heart in the center. This gives your card that sweet focal point.

Now, add two of your favorite Vintage Valentine Die Cuts to begin building your collage.

Next, layer your rose gold heart right on top. It’s always fun to incorporate matte foil for a luxe look!

Add the “To My Love” sentiment from the Vintage Valentine Die Cuts and top it all off with a lovely red bow. Swoon-worthy!
