Hello crafters,
It’s time for a spot of tea — and a touch of creativity! For this week's Made Easy, we’re showcasing the charming Teapot Box Dies, and trust us, you're going to love how versatile and beautiful they are! Whether you're hosting a bridal shower, celebrating a birthday or simply looking for a sweet way to say “thank you,” this elegant die set transforms your paper into the perfect, gift-able keepsake.
We’re walking you through how to make a dimensional teapot-shaped box that’s ideal for holding tea bags, sweets, gift cards, or even a heartfelt note. The magic of these dies is that they work with anything in your craft room from patterned papers to vintage ephemera and more!
Let's make one together!
First cut two teapots out of double-sided cardstock. We used the same pattern (from Canton Bleu), but flipped one side to make what will be the outside pieces the same. We also used matte gold foil cardstock to create the spoon, top, sentiment and tea bag for both sides.
In order to get the opposite side of the teapot, cut the gold cardstock face down with the ivory up.
Next, we fussy cut the handles off the teapot with a craft knife (you can also use scissors).
Next, put the box together with tear tape on the bottom and along the tabs for easy construction.
Now you have a 3D box just waiting to be filled!
Add the top, fussy cut handle and embellishments with foam adhesive.
Do the same thing to the back of the card that you did to the front!
With various cards, embellishments and diecuts, create something special to go inside your teapot box.
Tea really does make everything better! This is just the thing for a shower favor or special occasion. Anyone would love receiving this gorgeous gift!
Play around with the design and create an easel card from the Teapot Box Die Set.
Astrid certainly makes a stunning teapot— all trimmed in silver.
These spectacular cards will lift spirits and send cheer to anyone who receives them.
What makes the Teapot Box Dies so special is their adaptability. Mix in your stash of embellishments— bows, butterflies and antique die-cuts for a truly one-of-a-kind gift box that’s as fun to give as it is to receive.
We hope you enjoy making your own teapot boxes as much as we loved designing them. Don’t forget to share your beautiful creations with us; we love to see your beautiful work!
Love,
Anna

Beautiful Tea Pot 🌺⭐️🌸⭐️
I love this die. I made an easel card out of mine. Anna I hope you are able to do a Create in November 2025. Also say hi to Stephanie Johnson in the office and tell her that she has such a nice name. Good luck this weekend at Crop 5!
Will be making about 25 of these for a luncheon this summer. Can’t wait to start putting them together.
