Black and orange spiderweb card with gold, orange and black contents from the Slimline Witch Dies

Slimline Witch Dies- Made Easy

Hello crafters,

It's officially fall, and we are busy creating cards for the next big holiday, Halloween! The Slimline Witch Dies are one of our favorite seasonal dies that create a scene. The dies in this set are just begging to be inlayed, and on today's card we are going to show you how! If you have had your eye on this die set, then this week is the best time to get them!

Head to your craft room; it's time to make today's featured card!

First, we cut the house scene with the witch. This is an easy way to conserve paper!

Cut the inner shadow layer out of the Luxury Shimmer Cardstock (in the fall palette).
Easily add texture to your layers by placing them in an embossing folder and running through your Empress Machine.
To inlay your dies, place a piece of scotch tape on the back of your diecut and place the pieces onto the sticky side.
Add fun details to your witch by paper piecing with parts from your additional cuts. A fussy cut witch hat, broom and shoes make your cute little witch come to life.
Use xyron, double sided adhesive or glue to attach the pieces.
Now your witch has magically come to life!
To make our card background, we used the Halloween for All Papercrafting Kit on a slimline card. Add the shadow layer with double-sided adhesive.
Place your inlayed house frame with foam adhesive.
Place your embossed layer along with a few Retro Halloween stickers as shown.
The shadow layer for the witch gets placed on the left side of your card.
Add your friendly witch. How cute is her wave?
A sentiment, gold string and spider make great finishing touches!
Now, which trick or treater needs to get this card in the mail or in their candy bag?
Witches can be green, gold or any color between! We love to add a bubbling cauldron and bats!
Play with unexpected colors for whimsical cards to send to your ghoul friends.
Combine different colors, textures and elements from your craft room to make the perfect Happy Halloween card!
Making these cards is sure to lift your spirits! The Slimline Witch Dies are a versatile, Halloween staple. Get yours on sale on our website this week! Access this tutorial and hundreds more with your AG Membership. We love to inspire you with new ideas for your papercrafting.

Not a big fan of slim cards even though I just finished the carte noel box. Yes, I’m a little slow. The slim line witch concept is cute; not scary. Have the Halloween cardstock and it is fabulous. Waiting to see what October brings! Happy Autumn!

The embossing definitely adds more texture and dimension. I like that your Halloween is Too Cute To Spook.
Happy Crafting!

Such a cute card. I am thinking I may need to add to my collection of dies. I am going to order the paper that you were using. Thanks for all the Tuesday tutorials!! Have a great day. 🌸
