Hello crafters,
We're shaking things up with the Shaker Card Kit on today's Made Easy tutorial. This kit makes it easy for you to have a fun, interactive card that is filled with the sequins that come inside the kit or things from your craft room. You will get 12 shaker pouches,12 acetate sheets with foam tape, 12 acetate sheets, 12 diecut card layers, 12 folded cards 5" x 7", 12 envelopes and 4000 gold sequins. The card we are going to make together creates an acetate box.
If you don't have the Shaker Card Kit, then now is your chance to get it on sale. Whether you are making celebratory birthday cards or holiday cards, a shaker card is fun to make and send.
Let's get started.
First, punch out the middle of one of your card layers.
We used the layer to trace around one of the Vignette Papers and Embellishments. Then cut around it to create your card layer.
Attach the layer to one of the included cards using double-sided adhesive.
We added a present to the middle of the scene from the Birthday Wishes Card Kit.
Add double-sided adhesive to the back of the acetate box.
It's time to add sequins!
Peel off the foam adhesive, and place the acetate layer on top to seal the box.
Add more double-sided adhesive on top of the sealed box.
Then, place the colored layer on top.
Add a collage of embellishments to the top, left corner and a sentiment from the Birthday Wishes Card Kit create a beautiful birthday card.
On the bottom of the card attach a cupcake and floral embellishment.
A bottle of champagne and balloons make for a celebration every time!
Who has an October birthday and needs to receive this card? It's time to make it and get your card in the mail.
Add beads and use your favorite holiday papers for joyful Christmas cards.
For a unique Christmas card try adding a rub on sentiment to the acetate layer of your card.
Another card making idea using the Shaker Card Kit is adding diecuts to the inside of your shaker window.

These are SO pretty! I can NOT make a decent shaker card to safe my life! I’ve been making AG cards for 2 years now and for some reason shaker cards elude me! This Blog post makes me want to try again! fingers crossed
