Scary White Rub On Transfers - Made Easy

Hello boo-tiful crafters,

With just over 2 weeks to Halloween, we thought that the time was right for a fright-tastic tutorial using the Scary White Rub On Transfers. This set of transfers adheres to a surface of your choice and adds a spooky, whimsical design quickly and easily! From scary skulls to ghastly ghouls, you are sure to find an image that screams Halloween (and they are on sale this week)!

Let's get started on today's card!

First find the images you would like to use on your card and cut them out of the sheet. We are using the mirror image roses.

Next, there are 2 ways to adhere the rub on. You can use a bone folder, popsicle stick or other blunt object to transfer you image onto paper. Or, you can simply peel off the backing and run through your Empress Machine for a perfect result every time.
We added the 2 rose transfers to the top left and bottom right corners of a piece of 5x7 matte black cardstock on an ivory card.
Next, red rose stickers (from the Vintage Halloween Card Making Kit) are added to the top right and bottom left corners of the card.
Create a centerpiece out of one of your frame dies (we used the 3D Baroque Frame Dies), spooky embellishments (ours are from Vintage Halloween) and a sentiment.
Your frightful card is ready to send! Halloween is such a fun holiday to make cards for. It brings out the kid in all of us, and brings back memories of costumes, candy and trick or treating!
Our Scary White Rub Ons can be added to all kinds of surfaces! From cardstock and vellum to ribbon and glass, experiment with different looks!
We love making an entire card out of rub ons! These framed curiosities are just the thing for sending ghostly greetings.
Create diecuts by adding your transfers to dark paper and use them collaged on your cards to send Best Witches.
We love a good scare! Show off your Scary White Rub On Transfer Halloween cards with us on our social media channels or email them to us to share on our weekly Craftspiration blog post. You can email them to us at RSVP@annagriffin.com.
Create 10 ticket sales are only available for the 3 more days! We would love for you to attend our crafting weekend full of creativity, amazing products and being surrounded by community.

I have been buying your beautiful products for many years. It’s excellent quality and you offer helpful suggestions. But what is happening with your company. Multiple emails most days promoting the same product. Today you crossed the line taking advantage of your loyal customers advertising wine, a product in no way related to card making.

I am disappointed with you.

I have been thinking of useing rub on’s on a wall.

I’ve got to get the paper bundles coming next year to get black paper, even the navy. These rub ons are just really clever and give the paper a quick and easy “wow”

Thank you so much for sharing this tip. I appreciate it.

Anna loving the idea of using the Empress to get the rubons without having to rub with a bone folder or popsicle stick. Thanks for sharing that technique. Everyone have a great day and week and may God bless you all.
