Rose Ultimate Papercrafting Kit- Made Easy

There’s something so satisfying about finding a new way to stretch your supplies and create even more beautiful projects. This week, we’re featuring the gorgeous Rose Ultimate Papercrafting Kit and showing you how to make elegant compound borders that will add texture, dimension and timeless style to your cards. What’s great is that this incredible kit is filled with over 300 pieces, including beautiful papers, cardstock, matte foil cardstock, floral border stickers, rose diecuts, gold foil embellishments, sentiments, twine and so many coordinating embellishments that make creating easy and inspiring. Let's make a card together!

Start by using the Create Spring 12" Border Dies to cut a piece of pink matte foil cardstock from inside the Rose Ultimate Papercrafting Kit.

Take a ruler and a craft knife, or scissors, and slice the diecut border right down the center. Now you have two decorative borders instead of one. What’s great is that this simple trick helps you make even more from your supplies.

Attach each sliced border diecut to either side of one of the pink floral border stickers, keeping the pleated edges facing outward. So pretty.

Cut the completed compound border into one 7" section and one 5" section.

Add the 7" compound border to the center of the green tossed floral card.

Arrange a compound embellishment made with a gold foil wreath, rose diecuts and a gold floral rose on the card front.

Add several more pink rose diecuts, gold foil flourishes, a white rose and a coordinating sentiment from the kit to complete the design.

Use the 5" compound border on another card. Just add a few coordinating diecuts from the kit for another quick and beautiful greeting card.

Experiment with different papers, border stickers and embellishments throughout the collection.
