There’s something so special about creating a card that celebrates a milestone with elegance and creativity. Today, we’re featuring the Pretty Patriotic 3D Frame Dies, a beautiful set that helps you create stunning layered designs for patriotic occasions, anniversaries, birthdays and so much more. Today, we're going to show you how to create a spectacular patriotic card. Come get crafty with us!
Use the Pretty Patriotic 3D Frame Dies and your Empress Machine (or other personal diecutting and embossing machine) to cut a piece of navy shimmer cardstock. Watch as the die cuts, engraves and embosses all at once for beautiful detail.
Use the Pretty Patriotic Dies to cut the eagle, banner and decorative pieces from your favorite patterned papers and matte foil cardstock. Paint with paper by mixing colors and finishes for extra dimension.
Add a patterned layer to the navy shimmer frame. 
Cut the matte foil shadow layer for your frame and set it aside.
Create a larger ribbon by combining ivory ribbon with a red velvet ribbon. Apply double-sided adhesive to the back of the velvet ribbon and center it onto the ivory ribbon to make one beautiful wide ribbon.
Weave the ribbon through the top and bottom slits in the frame diecut. It creates the look of a beautiful decorative buckle.
Attach the ribbon securely on the back of the frame.
Now, you have a gorgeous layered frame ready for your card.
Add embellishments from the Simply Celebration Chest Card Making Kit to the toile card front. The fireworks are a perfect finishing touch.
Attach your gold shadow layer to your card base.
Add your ribboned frame on top.
Add the star diecut for extra sparkle.
Add your layered eagle diecut to the center of the frame.
Finish with the red 250th banner and the "On This Special Day" sentiment.
There are so many ways to work with this die set, and a million interpretations for projects. Add ribbon horizontally for a completely different look.

I have enjoyed using this die set and will continue to use it for many years to come. It is a classic. I just wish you would have released it a month or two earlier so I could have made more 4th of July cards with it for our 250th Birthday. Most of all this beautiful inspiration is after the holiday. Maybe in the future you will consider this. This die set would have been great for Memorial Day cards. But I can see making more and more cards with this set for our Veterans.
