Madison Papercrafting Kit- Made Easy

Hi friends,

It's the week of Independence Day, and we thought that it was the perfect time to use the Madison Papercrafting Kit to make an amazing scrapbook page for your summer holiday memories. If you love red, white, blue and all things Americana, then this is the papercrafting kit for you. What's great about a papercrafting kit is that you can use it for card making, scrapbooking, 3D paper crafts and more. In this kit are 12x12 and 5x7 double-sided cardstock, sentiments and embellishments. From postcards to bunting and waving flags to Miss Firecracker, this collection is wonderful to work with. Get out your Madison Papercrafting Collection, and let's create this page together! If you don't have it, get it on sale on our website this week!

Below is how we make today's page.

First we cut one of the 12x12 Madison layers with the Diorama Card Dies.

To easily make a box with a different interior, we added a piece of 5x7 Madison cardstock inside with double-sided adhesive. It needs to be trimmed down a little to fit inside.
Tear tape is added to the tabs, and you roll the sides in and press down. Now, you have a pretty, mitered box!
Combine different Madison patterns as shown to create a background.
Add a contrasting piece of Madison at an angle.
Place your 3D box on top of the piece of cardstock with tear tape.
Put a photo of your choice inside of the box.
We love to let the patterns of the paper be our guide! Fussy cut the navy Madison paper as shown to make a beautiful border. Attach to the page.
Use one of the included sentiments to tell about the memory of the page.
Add 4 corner embellishments to the 4 corners of the page.
What's great about having 90 embellishments is that you can create the most spectacular collages.
Add a couple of choice embellishments like the Our Favorite Memories sentiment and USA banner to the top right corner.
Make a celebratory banner by combining individual bunting pieces, coin embellishments, cherries and dove tailed ribbon to the fussy cut layer.
Reposition the sentiment so that it fits and can be seen.
Now, your favorite summer memories are immortalized on this lovely page. Add your journaling and you are off to the races!
You will appreciate having both the 5x7 and 12x12 papers for cards like the wiper card.
Combine the Madison elements with your favorite frames dies and flowers.
The Madison Papercrafting Kit is a lesson on mixing and matching. Play with all of the incredible designs inside!
Red, white and blue cards are just the thing for sending thank you cards for someone's service! If you send cards for soldiers, this papercrafting kit is sure to come in handy!
We hope that you have had as much fun making this scrapbook page as we have! It's easy to see why this mix and match papercrafting kit is one of our very favorites. Enjoy this how to for the next week; afterwards it will move to our video library with over 700 different video tutorials. Wow…wish I had the Madison papers for the 4th of July cards I just sent out using the Anna Griffin® Kirigami Rectangle Dies. They turned out great but these would have elevated my cards.
