Live Stream Lowdown: Wishing Well Finishing School Craft Box

Hello Griffinites,

Our September Finishing School Live was such a great time last week. In case you missed it, we are recapping it below and you can always watch on your own time here. During our hour together we did a deep dive, and got up close and personal with the Wishing Well Finishing School Craft Box. This kit is the third installment of this year’s Finishing School Craft Boxes. The Wishing Well Finishing School Craft Box is a hybrid kit, complete with dies, card bases, layers, embellishments, sentiments and the best part video instruction! There are so many ways to create with this kit, and on AGTV we showed you how to make 3 more spectacular projects. Before we get into our recap, here is a list of last week’s winners! If you see your name below and haven’t done so already, please email us at RSVP@annagriffin.com.

The Create 9 winner was Clarissa Miller; congratulations!

Here’s a look at last week’s show!

A collage of papers with a birdcage and flowers.

In Project 1, we created an incredible, duplexed wishing well card. This 360 experience creates such a wonderful easel card!

A pop up card with flowers on it.

Can’t get enough of this kit? You are in luck! We have the Wishing Well Embellishments and Wishing Well Double-Sided Card Card Stock available to supplement the kit.

A stack of papers with floral designs on them.

A large arrangement of flowers, leaves, and labels.

We had our special guest Deepa Black and loved hearing about her work with the Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA and how she brings crafting into the lives of 11 students!

Two pictures of a woman talking on the phone.

Our second project taught you how to recess a wishing well inside a card to create a window looking in and a different kind of easel.

A pink card with roses and butterflies on it.

For our final project we made an amazing 3D wishing well made with 6 cut wishing wells. What’s great is that this folds flat so you can send it, and you can use fewer cuts to create a similar effect. Watch the replay, we show you how!

A gold card with roses and a bow.

Our Crafts Team makes so many inspiring projects. Watch the replay to take a look inside the project box; you are sure to find beautiful cards that will inspire you!

A collection of cards with flowers and birds on them.

Our Sneak Peek segment gave you your first look at a few brand new, upcoming items that are only available during the show. We also highlighted the wonderful embellishment packs that we have for you to create year round flower carts!

I was not able to attend the live version of the class but I was able to see the replay and all I can say it was fantastic. I loved all of the projects and I cannot wait to try them out to see what I come up with. Thank you Anna and Team it was a great session even if I had to do the reply versus the live event. I will try to be at the other event. Also waiting for the 18 Sep for the Anna Griffin Craft Event on HSN. Everyone have a great evening and God bless you all.

So sorry I missed the live event, but so glad to have the video as I just love the items made with the Wishing Well dies, papers & embellishments. I especially love the 360 degree one that is so genius. I wish I had been there to enter the contest for the Create 9 as I am still saving up for that (last year was my 1st time as just found you on HSN in August last year and first thing I bought was the Jack-o-Lantern easel card it reminded me of the ones from my childhood days). So I will still share how I fulfilled a long time wish for my god-daughter’s parents. Last year was their 20th anniversary, when they got married they just went to the beach for a night as didn’t have funds for anything more for their honeymoon, her mom especially had wanted to go to Hawaii for their honeymoon, but they had never been able to as along came all the kids and expenses that go with them. So last year for their 20th wedding anniversary, I took them all to Hawaii with me, the parents and all 3 kids. We went to a Luau the night of their 20th anniversary and they got called to the stage and they played the Hawaiian wedding song for them to dance to in celebration of their 20th anniversary. I took them and the 3 kids all over Hawaii, we hiked Diamond Head, went to Dole Plantation, went to Kualoa Ranch to the movie tour, went to North Shore to the beach and Masamoto’s Shave Ice and we all went to Pearl Harbor Memorial. My god-daughter was 11 and had just finished elementary school and learned about Pearl Harbor and her wish was to visit it, so she got her wish fulfilled too. The middle child a daughter had just graduated high school in May last year 2022, and the brother was turning 21 in December 2022 and had just graduated high school in 2021, so we were celebrating all their big memories in one big memorable trip. They all had a great time as did I, I always wanted to go to Hawaii and stay at the Disney Aulani (as I am a Disneyholic and I especially love Disney World), but didn’t want to go alone to Hawaii, so taking them with me, as we are now one big family, was so memorable and so much fun and enjoyment was had by everyone. We all want to go back some day soon.
