Lian Rub Ons + Lian Cards and Envelopes Made Easy

Hi Crafters,

Today we’re making something so elegant, you’ll swear it was custom printed just for you! We’re using the Lian Rub Ons and Lian Cards and Envelopes set, which comes with stunning frame cards, coordinating envelopes, and those dreamy rub ons that make everything look like fine stationery. What’s great is that these rub ons layer beautifully, giving you that luxe, dimensional finish in minutes.

Let’s get started!

First, pick two of the frame cards from the Lian Cards and Envelopes set. One will be your base, and one will have the blue layer cut from the middle.

Add your personal touch by applying rub ons and partial rub ons to both the card base and the cut-out layer. Use a bone folder to smooth them down and make the design permanent.

Once the first layer of rub ons is on, peel away the plastic and add more colors for a layered, artistic effect.

Next, carefully remove the blue layer from the card. Use a craft knife and ruler to cleanly separate the rub on design without tearing the paper.

Now you have a gorgeous custom-printed layer and a pristine base card. 

Use foam adhesive to reattach the layer, giving your card beautiful depth.

For the finishing touches, start by adding a sentiment from the Inspirational Expressions and two gold foil Lian Embellishments.

A layered rub on butterfly, lantern sticker and bow (from our Perfect Palette Pre-Tied Bows) finish the card in a beautiful way.
