Inside the Mystery Box- September

Hi crafters,

There’s something special about the places and people that make us feel at home. This month’s Papercrafting Mystery Box, Haven, celebrates those simple comforts with a beautiful collection inspired by home, garden and the quiet beauty found right outside your door!

Haven brings together soft greens, warm reds, muted blues and creamy neutrals in a charming mix of florals, paisleys and traditional patterns. You’ll find beautiful roses and garden blooms, sweet songbirds, butterflies, a cozy rocking chair, teacup imagery and plenty of graceful details that give the entire collection a collected, timeless feeling.

Whether you’re creating a card for a dear friend, sending a thoughtful thank you or simply reminding someone how much they mean to you, Haven was made for heartfelt crafting. Its warm palette and familiar imagery make it especially lovely for those everyday cards that don’t need a special occasion...just a special person!

Designed to Feel Like Home

As always, everything inside your Mystery Box has been thoughtfully coordinated so that creating beautiful projects comes naturally. Layer the intricate patterned papers with florals and garden imagery, add a bird or butterfly and finish with a meaningful sentiment and one of the pretty ivory bows.

This month, you’ll also find a coordinating die set filled with lovely nature-inspired shapes, including leaves, acorns and a sweet little bird. They're wonderful for adding another layer of dimension to your cards and can be used again and again with supplies already in your craft room.

This month's collection is perfect for:

• Friendship and thinking-of-you cards
• Thank you cards
• Birthday greetings
• Cards for someone who could use a little encouragement
• Garden and nature-inspired projects
• Scrapbook pages and memory keeping
• Everyday cards made simply to brighten someone's day

Blooms, Birds & Beautiful Details

Our Crafts Team created a gorgeous assortment of cards to show just how much you can do with Haven. Each project combines the collection's patterns, florals and nature-inspired details in a different way, creating cards that feel wonderfully layered and full of personality.

The beautiful patterned papers do so much of the work for you. Mix the soft green paisleys with touches of red and blue, then build dimension with clusters of roses, butterflies, birds and ornate flourishes. A little gold adds just the right touch of elegance, while the ivory bows give your finished projects that extra-special detail.

We especially love how the nature-inspired dies can become part of the scene. A pair of golden birds tucked among the flowers feels right at home, while leaves and acorns add a charming botanical touch. There are so many ways to mix, match and make Haven your own!

Happiness Is Being Near You

Sometimes the most meaningful cards are the ones we send for no particular reason at all. Haven is a beautiful reminder to celebrate the people who make life sweeter—the friends we treasure, the family we hold close and the people who simply make the world a better place.

As you create with this month's Mystery Box, we hope you'll think of someone who would love to find a handmade card in their mailbox. Make them something beautiful, write a heartfelt note inside and send a little piece of your own happy place their way.

We can't wait to see what you create with Haven! Share your projects with us on social media or email us at RSVP@annagriffin.com. Seeing all of the wonderful ways you make each Mystery Box your own is one of our favorite parts of every month.

Here's to home, happiness and creating something beautiful for the people we love.

Love,

Anna
