One incredible member of our community, Pamela Korte, handmakes 150 cards each month for military members overseas. I come from a family of veterans and proud to say my son also carried on serving this great nation. We must remember to thank those who have served and continue to protect our freedoms. My entire life I have felt blessed to be an American. The sacrifices made by those who serve will NEVER be forgotten as long as I am alive. Thank you to ALL the veterans who have served and sacrificed for MY freedom. I honor you every day.

Tomorrow in Canada, it will be Remembrance Day, while in the U.S., it will be Veteran’s Day.
As a proud and grateful Canadian, I have kept a poppy in my car for many, many years, to remind me of how lucky I am to have been born in Canada and for the freedoms we enjoy.
To those who sacrificed for our freedoms and for our country, never forget.
Tomorrow, in Canada, on the 11th day of the 11th month at the 11th hour, there will be a minute of silence. Honouring those brave souls who fought for our freedoms and our nation.
Lest We Forget.
My local Womens Club makes at least 100 to 150 cards for every holiday for our veterans forgotten soldiers program. I donate all the card stock and beautiful and papers from her patriotic packages to make these cards. They want them two months in advance so even though it’s not even Thanksgiving yet we’re already working on Valentine’s cards for next year. It’s a wonderful project and a great way to put my extra card stock to use. Thank you Anna for all the beautiful things that you make available to us. God bless America and God bless all of our soldiers.
My hat goes off for all our veterans who have and are giving so much to our country. I want to thank my husband for 28 years of service and to all of the other veterans in our country and especially to the veterans in the community. Without your sacrifice our country would not be free, and the American way of life would be different. God bless our veterans, Happy Veterans Day to all our veterans here in the States and overseas. I salute you all thank you for your service to our country.
