Holiday Tonal Foil Cardstock- Made Easy

Holiday Tonal Foil Cardstock- Made Easy

Hi Crafters,

It’s beginning to look a lot like a luxurious handmade holiday! This week, we’re creating a festive layered card using the Victorian Christmas Dies and the beautifully rich Holiday Tonal Foil Cardstock. Whether you’re crafting for friends, family or just spreading seasonal cheer, this combo is sure to make spirits bright.

What’s great is that the Victorian Christmas Dies set includes 6 gorgeous frame dies with shadow layers and intricate designs—perfect for elegant layering. Pair that with the Holiday Tonal Foil Cardstock, and you’re working with something truly special. You’ll get 24 sheets total: red, green, gold, silver and blue— each color in both 12x12 and 6x8 sizes. These sheets are embossed, foil stamped and printed for texture that looks straight out of a Victorian holiday dream.

Let’s make something beautiful, shall we?

First, use the intricate and inside shadow layer from the Victorian Christmas Dies to cut a piece of red Holiday Tonal Cardstock.

Next, use the intricate die from the set as a guide to help align your two shadow layers perfectly on a holly cardstock (from the Vintage Christmas Cards and Envelopes). They’ll sit just right.

Cut a 6x8 sheet of Holiday Tonal Foil Cardstock down to 5x7. Trim 0.5 inches off each side to keep the design centered.

Adhere this to your 5x7 card base.

Add your holly shadow layer to the center using foam adhesive for a lovely pop.

Then, place the intricate red diecut layer on top of your shadow layer.

Create a pretty collage of embellishments from the Woodland Holiday Stickers at the bottom of the card.

Add a gold foil flourish and pinecone sticker to the top right corner for a final festive touch.

You’ll love working with the Holiday Tonal Cardstock— gold, red, silver, green and blue make layering a breeze.

Use these luxurious papers as your main attraction or as elegant accents. Either way, your cards will shine.

Attach frames that show off the intricate designs and use anything in your craft room to bring your cards to life. This is a set you’ll use again and again to create cards that are just your style.

We can’t wait to see what you make with the Victorian Christmas Dies and Holiday Tonal Foil Cardstock (on sale on our website this week!). Share your creations with us and join the fun in our crafting community!

Your papers NEVER disappoint. the rich colors, the embossing, the quality of them. My biggest problem is picking and choosing what I am going to buy. Because I do want it ALL, but unfortunately my money only goes so far.
Thank you, Veterans, for service and sacrifice. May God bless you.
Happy Crafting!

A few quick steps and you’ll have a card that will be cherished forever. The foil cardstock in the different colors is stunning. And over the years my stash of extra embellishments is huge and the colors will coordinate.
