Inside of a Swing Out Die card with pumpkins, black cat and kitties

Fan Mail Friday - October 11th, 2024

Ghostly Greetings, Griffinites!

We want to start Fan Mail Friday by saying that we are thinking of everyone in Florida, North Carolina and surrounding areas that have been affected by the recent hurricanes. We are so thankful to have community with such wonderful crafters, and that we get to spend time together here through the blog and the cards that you send in.

Let's catch up this week.

Carole cast a spell on us with this fun Halloween card. She invited one of her Halloween loving friends to partake in out Vintage Halloween Kit and now she is hooked! We are happy to know that we have a new Griffinite on board and that you are now busy working on Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Elizabeth is ready for all things Halloween! We love the way that she combined the Halloween Vellum Card Toppers with the Scary 3D Concentric Dies.
Boo to you, Diane and Patrick! Thank you for the fun Miss Pumpkin Head card; what a great dress! We are so looking forward to your song during Create 10!
Mary Beth is always one for playing fun tricks with her card sending. Inside her ghoulish card are Georgie and Duke complete with spooky masks.
Our set of Swing Out Dies is just the thing to make the inside of your card say BOO!
Our Griffinites Give Create 10 is in full swing, and today we have our third winner. An anonymous donor wanted to make someone's crafting dream come true, and today that dream is coming true for Shannon Hornback! Shannon, please reach out to us at RSVP@annagriffin.com to claim your prize. Thank you to our generous sponsor for Shannon's ticket. We know that she will have an incredible time with all of us this November 8th-10th.
This week, we have another anonymous donor for our last Griffinites Give ticket. This donor is so excited for Create 10, and wants a lucky crafter to join in on all of the fun. For our final Griffinites Give ticket giveaway tell us about how you encourage others through your crafting.
Next Friday we will announce our winner. Create 10 tickets will be on sale through October 17th, and your craft boxes start shipping next week. The fun is about to begin! Secure your spot to the crafting event of the year.
Don't forget, our merch store is open!
We have the best weekend planned for you and all of your crafty friends! Let's walk down memory lane and take a look at last year's event.
On Monday, October 14th join us on AGTV at 12pm EDT for our Holiday Luster crafting show. We have a holiday show full of shimmering crafts just for you!

I send cards to my friends and family to encourage them. My mom is the baby of 9, so I am the youngest cousin of my generation. So, I’ve had the privilege of growing up with older and younger family! There is always an occasion to send cards for so many life events with such a wide age gap in my own family. My favorite cousin, who graduated high school with my mom recently passed away. He lived in Ohio, but because of personal circumstances, we were not able to visit him in the final days. I sent him so many cards, though, and he thanked me for every one of them. His last text to me was the heart-faced emoji and a heart! When I miss him (which is ALOT), I re-read his texts. Anyway, I really leaned on Anna’s sympathy card kit to convey my sympathies to family in recent years. Sadly having older family members means sharing sympathy cards but also getting to send my aunts in nursing homes encouragement as well. For each sad occasion, there are many happy ones as well. Birthdays, new babies, graduations and weddings! Thank you, Anna, for making your lovely kits to make it easier for me to share with others when I need an extra boost!

Dear Anna, I would love to win your create box for my 12 year old granddaughter. She wants one so bad, but a can’t afford one for as I’m on social security. She loves your cards and scrapbooking. She loves to make cards for her family and friends. She is also into sports and camping. She would like to learn how to scrapbook her memories with her family, and her friends she plays sports with. So I hope you pick her next Friday. God bless you for all you do to make people happy. Be watching your next event on hsn.

Congratulations Shannon. Create is tha ABSOLUTE BEST CRAFTING EVENT!!! Having been blessed to be able to attend every Virtual Create Events, I truly know this to be true.
My shirts arrived yesterday. Being short the sleeves are too long, but as they are cuffed they won’t fall on top of my hands. The hooded sweatshirt is so incredibly soft. It will make for a cozy fall and winter.
Thank you for releasing the Prep videos so early. I know it helps the Griffinites who still work. But even being retired, I appreciate the time as I am not as fast as I used to be.
And last year I had the covid during Create and watched the videos. I still could only prep a few of the classes. It is so nice to be able to go back and watch the videos after the event.
My prayers are with ALL the victims of Hurricane Helene and Milton. Don’t give up hope to anyone who has been affected. Hang in there. God is able.
Happy Crafting!

Congratulations, Shannon! You will so enjoy Create 10, it’s like immersing oneself in another world. Thank you to the Anonymous Donor for doing such a kind and gracious thing.

Halloween seems to bring out the children in us. These cards are good examples of that playfulness.
A fun time of year and your cards make us look so professional.
