Pink and gold birthday easel card with pink and purple flowers.

Craftspiration - September 19th, 2024

Hi friends,

It's time to be wowed by the things that the Griffinite community made and shared this week! We enjoy posting our crafters' creations immensely, and we know that you like seeing them too! It's fun to get to live creatively and to be surrounded by people who expand your creativity and share their talents.

Come explore the projects that were made and shared with us this week!

Penny shared, "Working on Christmas cards. This is one of my favorites using the candy cane. Would love to see more candy cane embellishments and, Anna, would you please bring back these garland sentiments! So big, bold and beautiful! Gosh, I sound like a soap opera!"

Laura posted, "Anna's Christmas Wishes card backgrounds are so pretty, that I decided to simply let that beauty be shown!"

Arlene said, "“When witches go riding”….This week tried using a lighter base for my Halloween card and pulled from all the great dies and embellishment kits."
Patti wrote, "This one is from Anna's Create 9. I couldn't attend the seminar, but was able to purchase just the box of goodie's. I'm so looking forward to Create 10. November can't get here quick enough for me."
Sabrina said, "This card surprised me - it turned out so cute! I guess Santa is already watching over us."
Fifi shared her festive easel card.
Lu wrote, "Happy Sunday! This is week 38 of a Christmas card every week. Absolutely love the Reason for the Season stickers!"
Diane shared, "I glammed up this card I made using the Photo Easel Card Die from Create 9. You know, I have often thought that with just one die and different paper and different embellishments, there is no end to the cards that we can make! Looking forward to Create 10."
Carrie posted, "Today, my Sunday Share is a birthday card I made for my sweet hubby! His sentiment (on bottom of card) begins with..."You are not old, you are CLASSIC!" He will open it later today. Hopefully, he will love it!"
Sally said, "I created this layout of my granddaughter using the Simply Wildflower Kit and Wildflower Dies. The brown tones in the picture coordinate well with the pink and gold. There’s even some small brown flowers in the card stock. I’m loving this collection!"
Heidi wrote, "So this is me today. I’m having procedures done tomorrow morning. So I am taking this so called down time to make myself a catalog of all my dies and to what folders they’ll be in. I am using petal papers for each background and of course gold to show off the design."
Donna said, "This is another card that I created using the Simply Thanksgiving Kit. This is such a beautiful set of cards to add to your collection!"
Yvonne posted, "Had so much fun making collage Pumpkins as A7 cards from the Pumpkin Easel. Bright colors prevail when Hermosa meets Vintage Halloween!"
Sherry said, "I am making Fall cards for friends. Here is one where I used Fall Plaid Card Stock, and Harvest Embellishments combined with Retro Thanksgiving Stickers. I cut my Fall Plaid card stock to make a window and overlaid it on one of my Simply Cards to create a shadowbox."
Joy posted, "Finally got started on Fall! Anna's dies & Harvest Stickers to the rescue!"
Evelyne shared, "From the first time I saw these Halloween dies for sale, I knew I was going to use these as Christmas elves legs as well as for Halloween. The second card still needs tweaking and a sentiment."
Maria said, "Sympathy cards for the family of a very special, generous, strong, caring, smart, mentor and friend."
Karen posted, "My birthday cards I created today during the AZ Griffin Gals Fall Convention. Lots of great fun this weekend. It was great to visit and craft today!"
Shellie shared, "Whether the ample embellishments included in Christmas Greetings card kit or the many nostalgic-styled stickers in newest Reason for the Season Folio, there's no time like the present to make the last few cards ready for address labels! Happy Sunday Share, creative friends!"
Dayle said, "Turned Anna’s Perfume Box Dies into a Halloween treat box. Love Anna’s Halloween Papers and Embellishments for each side of the box."

I loved all the cards, pages and ideas for storage.

Lovely ideas! 😍

To me, Sally’s coordination of the papers she had on hand (Wild Flower Meadow) and her subject matter (her beautiful granddaughter in a “wild” environment) is tantamount to a spectacular composition! IMO, that is the whole point of crafting – making a cohesive and complimentary “tableau”! Well done, Sally!
