Hi Griffinites,
Last week, our social media channels were filled with the most incredible crafting! From Father's Day cards and birthday cards to amazing scrapbook pages and more. Our favorite thing about this community of creatives is how you uplift each other and share beautiful ideas for cards, scrapbook pages and papercrafting. It's spectacular to see!
The wait is over! Come take a look at the projects made and shared by Griffinites this week!
Marie posted, "The wing tip box was fun to explore and wonderful to use."
Diane wrote, "My Sunday share is a Father’s Day card for my brother who is quite the fisherman!"
Dayle shared, "The pretty cards and layers in the wildflower meadow simply card kit are just so beautiful that I wanted to make an easel card out of them. I combined them with Anna’s Anniversary Paper and Embellishments for this card. And used the dies from the wildflower meadow die set. I did also use some of the flowers from the kit. And Anna’s butterfly dies. And a few pearls for an accent. These kits are so versatile in the degree that you want to use them."
Fifi said, "I am in love with the new colors and luxury of the Phoebe Luxury Matte Foil and in the center is a peak at the Hermosa cardstock."
Shellie posted, "With a challenge getting old family photos 'enlarged, and reprinted,' I've been enjoying looking at them, and eager to make album pages for! I've been making 'Lomasi' pages because of the place and ways my dad grew up in rural South Dakota, a place rich in Lakota culture and friendship. The prairie grasses where he raised his own family teem with grasses, animals, and plants--and, with Anna's Chameleon Pencils, I tried 'colorizing' ivory lilies, using lavender and purple to reflect the prairie's pasque (or 'peace' flower, actually an anemone), to embellish. As a youngster in the early 1940s, my dad always helped his dad and uncles put up hay on a giant wagon pulled by a draft horse named 'Dolly.' When I get the black & white photo enlarged properly, it will replace the small 'Lomasi & Handsome' matted photograph of my dad as a teenager, as shown. 'Happy Father's Day,' in heaven now, beloved Dad!
Note: Lomasi Collection is more vibrantly colored than my phone photo depicts. Try it yourself!"
Heidi shared her "birthday card for a dear friend."
We love what you have made with
Virginia!
Brenda wrote, "Father’s Day Card. This is my third card and yes, I have mistakes but it’s pretty good."
Doreen said, "Today is our 45th Anniversary, made this for my husband."
We hope that you had a happy anniversary!
Mary posted, "I’m making
bookmarks or the grand opening of my Little Free Library which is going in this week."
Stacy shared, "The AG
wingtips are so cool!!! Can’t wait to share these…so perfect for the men in my life.
Thank you, Anna, for these fabulous designs!!!"
Josette' said, "Scrapbook page of my granddaughter dressed for a school dance using
Carte Noire papers &
Birthday Wishes & Tassel & Fringe dies."
Arlene shared, "Have not made a slimline card in ages, so decided to use the
Carte Noire Finishing School Box for card base. Used the beautiful
3D Ribbon Border Dies for the inner frame and All About Her Die Cuts for the lady, gloves and corset ad.
Terry posted, "The
Virginia papers have captured my heart! I love the soft, watercolor look of the coordinating designs that mix & match beautifully. The dies on today's share are the Birthday Festival,
Photo Finish Easel,
Concertina, Basket & Ornate Frame Concentric."
Belinda said, "Andrea and I had a great time at our local cider company on Friday helping some people celebrate National Creativity Day. What better way than making beautiful Anna Griffin birthday cards from the
big birthday box?
It was a fun afternoon! Most of the people were beginners and very pleased with the results."
Jo Ann made this stunning
Phoebe card!
Sherry said, "My friend was given a picture of her son-in-law and his dad at the recent Charles Schwab Golf Classic here in TX. She asked me if I could make her a photo picture card to give to the dad for Father's Day and one to the son as a remembrance of the special day. Anna's photo easel dies are rectangular. But I remembered I had a
Square Box die that just might work. So with the help of a lot of
Handsome papers and die cuts and other ephemera this is what I came up with."
Each card, scrapbook and paper project is more beautiful than the next. We want to thank you for participating with us each week. Seeing the gorgeous things that you make and share with us and others is so inspiring. We're so thankful for the spirit of creativity that is alive and well here on Craftspiration!

Bye for now,

All your crafters are great but I was happiest to see the scrapbook page created in the Lomasi style. It brought back memories of a wonderful Lakota wife and mother of mixed heritage that was one of our wonderful HIV instructors. She shared important information in a culturally appropriate and caring way to the ladies and mothers of all ages. She lived an inspired life and contributed so much to all of us. Remembering our lineage and all the accomplishments of friends and families is a grand and wonderful task. Thanks to all who keep history and family alive. Today is the 80th Anniversary of D DAY, the landing in Normandy. Please remember those no longer with us.
