Craftspiration- January 9th, 2025

Hello Griffinites,

This week has been a whirlwind of creativity in our crafting community, and the cards and scrapbook pages shared have been nothing short of inspiring! From birthday cards brimming with beautiful designs and heartfelt messages to Valentine’s Day projects that are overflowing with love and thoughtfulness, each piece is a direct reflection of the creativity and talent of our crafting community.

It’s truly amazing to see how everyone has brought their unique style to life, whether through intricate techniques, unique color combinations and even on photo cards! The projects below show off the skills and creativity of our crafters, and serve as a source of inspiration for anyone looking to light a spark in his or her craft room.

Come take a look at all of the beauty!

Kim said, "Using the Smitten Cut & Emboss Folders and Fancy French Frame Die. The embossing detail on the hearts is gorgeous."

Diane posted, "Now that Christmas is over, I have been catching up some unfinished Create 10 class projects. Here is both front and back of the five-panel Fantastic Fan in beautiful hues of blue & gold."
Gloria shared, "The New Year means new calendars and what better way to use the wonderful scraps of Anna Griffin’s beautiful papers. And a fun project to bless all my friends with."
Andrea wrote, "Hearts and champagne for Valentines."
Tracy shared, "This is a photo ornament I made of my little girl. For more depth, I used the shadow box technique for displaying the actual photo. I learned this technique during Create 10 (which was demonstrated on the Christmas Treat Box)...and I love it and am finding it useful for so many projects. I also just came across my Baubles and Branches Dies and am in love with them once again. The branches are perfect for these ornaments and they too will be used in many projects yet to come."
Sally posted, "I used the Simply Astrid Scrapbooking Kit to make this layout of my granddaughter."
Terry posted, "I'm making Valentines on this snowy day in Kansas! This one features the Lace Doily & Valentine Doily Dies. The heart in the corners is from the Unicorn Scene Dies & the swag is from the Door Dies."
Diane shared, "Here is our grandson’s 16th birthday card I made with the Carte Homme Dies. With big smiles he kept saying over & over, “Thank you Grandma!” That’s worth my effort indeed!"
Patti said, "So happy to be back in my craft room doing what's fun and creative. I used my recently purchased Album Frame Die, China Cabinet Crafting Kit, and the Tea Cup Cut and Emboss Folders. This card was inspired by Anna's recent Made Easy video."
Shellie said, "With Anna's newest Love Ephemera Stickers in hand, and my other valentine card kits used up, I set out to warm up this cold wintry day making similar to Anna's recent posts, which always sets my creativity in motion! Finally, I bought Lace Doily Dies set (pictured at left), a personal favorite before it should get away, and was so happy to see it on Anna's social media. The pink, black and red-all-over (at right) is made using Sweetheart Impression Dies inked with Anna's Rose Petal pigment ink on patterned and solid cardstock."
Gay Lynn wrote, "It’s now thank you card season!"
Mary posted, "Did this a little earlier in the week, inspired by the blog."
Teatime indeed!
Tom shared, "I'm using this year's Christmas Mega to build up my stash for next year. The blue one was to put this year's die set through its paces."
Marie said, "Started my Valentine cards and I’m loving the rub ons!"
Sandra posted, "Made the 12 rocking valentine cards for the ladies in my Sunday School class."
Heidi wrote, "A birthday card for a special January Griffinite Birthday."
Virginia is oh so pretty!
Fifi shared, "Another Valentine's card using the Heart Shaped Cards and 3D Lace Doily Dies."
