Hello crafty friends,
It’s hard to believe that January is coming to a close, but we can’t help but be excited for Valentine’s Day! There’s just something about all of the pretty pinks, reds and hearts that go into making projects filled with love! We had some wonderful projects shared across our social media channels this week, and it’s time to share them with you!
Come take a look!
Vicki said, “I’m making valentines for my Sisters in Law along with birthday and thinking of you cards this week. Anna Griffin Inc. products make gorgeous cards so easy. Thin 3/8ths inch Velcro Hook and Loop is my new favorite that I picked up from the Gatefold Finishing School Class. I watch all of the Finishing school classes because I ALWAYS pick up something new!”
Clare posted, “All Anna except the stamp set. I really struggled to use this stamp set and thought I would try it with Anna Griffin and now I am so happy with the results.”
Arlene wrote, “Love Victorian lady images so worked them into Anna’s Perfect Pattern Slimline cut and emboss folder with the diamond pattern and embossed on vellum. Also used the Boiserie card stickers for the first time.”
Julia shared, “This is an Irish themed birthday card that I made on Friday for one of my best friends who is extremely Irish. I’m not giving it to her till it’s closer to her birthday, but I didn’t want to put off making it because life always gets in the way of the things that I need to do.”
Nancy said, “A birthday card for my 8-year-old ballet student. All AG on a shimmer card.”
Ellen posted, “Made my pulley card Valentine for my hubby.”
Cynthia wrote, “My first flower cart is a Valentine ‘cause it’s Valentines 24/7 for me right now.”
Gay Lynn posted, “Mixing some older elements with newer ones.”
Thea said, “I’m just in love with all the Anna Griffin Valentine goodies we have to choose from! I tried to change up the traditional red or pink for this Valentine card.”
Mary Beth wrote, “Last of the Valentines for 2023…February without Valentines…would be like, I don’t know – January??”
Heidi, said, “My first card from the kit.”
Tracy posted, “I fell so in love with the Neoclassical Dies that I decided to purchase the Baroque Dies and I’m glad I did . These 3D dies are extraordinary! And I used dies from Anna’s Explosion Box Die set to frame the photo.”
Terry posted, “A special Valentine for my one & only I love the Gazebo Cut & Emboss dies & use them for numerous occasions. Other elements: Couple from the Ballroom Slider dies, paper from the Heirloom Lace collection.”
Shellie said, “What a luxe Valentine, Anna Griffin Inc. , with all the shimmer & shine, all the flourish & frills! You’ve inspired us all! Today, at my craft-spot, it’s a pair in purple, or rather, lovely lavender for a pair of lovely ladies in my husband’s family, celebrating birthdays this month. Your Cake Easel made and shown earlier for AGTV- Birthday Wishes inspired my card at left, using a favorite double-sided cardstock and my very favorite Lavender Metallic–which I REALLY would like and request in 25-pak; and, your Celebrations Collage Toppers and layers inspired my card at right (both are instantly embellished with some of my favorite embossing folders ‘Thistle Tiles,’ and ‘Rose Toss,’ respectively). Anna-cards may easily upstage birthday cake…!”
Annie Laura said, “Here the few Valentines I have completed. The pink metallic hearts hearts have white glitter shadow and my red hearts have matter gold shadows.”
Beth posted, “Just had to make another . Getting into the spirit of Valentine’s Day . Here is my 3D version of the Flower Cart. Dies Used FS Flower Cart, Valentine cut and emboss folders, all four corners, lantern from the Carriage Dies and 3D decorative border dies.”
Diane wrote, “I used some fan die cuts and the petite French Fans dies.”
Eve shared, “Well I just had to ink the flower cart die to see what I’d get. Added one of the Victorian ladies die cuts. They just purchased the flower basket and are walking away happy.”
Shirli shared her Enchanted Hearts card.
Barbara shared, “The use of Anna’s beautiful teal floral paper with hints of gold and pearls. “Happy Valentine’s Day””
